You bring up an interesting topic, I've been saving as a Litiquette discussion point - "Post Counts" how valid is the number? What if someone posts on a word thread or the Battle of the Sexes thread just to elevate the count. Is that good enough? Doesn't post quality play a factor?

Good evening, I have enjoyed reading thru the thread Chained. Reminds me of some old threads I was involved in.

On "Post Counts" you can see I have been a member since 01.. my thread count at one time was very high (at least 10,000), I was involved in several threads and even had my own room at one time. I was off lit for a few years - just hitting off and on. My post count is now very low - assuming because they deleted several threads I was a participant on.

As I get to know more of the newer people here I am sure it will go up. I do play some of the word threads and Battle - but not to elevate post count, just a way to get to know people again.

Okay Litiquette-izans, PMs,we love them, we hate them, we want them , but only on our terms. I'll start with this, what must a PM(from someone you don't know) contain for you to even consider replying?

I completely agree...you need to capture my attention. ..make me laugh.
And please have a post count...and maybe a reference to something I've said.

Don't start with I love your profile/av pic.... have some substance.. I do look at when they joined and post count.. and look at some of their posts.. if it's obvious they are looking for sex - I usually ignore or at least send back - "sorry not interested in"..
