I share a bit here and there, and a bit more in private. I don't care if other people don't share as much unless they are trying to get me to share and not sharing themselves.

Also very upset with Chained for not including us Australians in his question but I thought I would answer anyway. :p

My apologies Wom(can I call you Wom?), the exclusion of the Aussies was due to my lack of ability to ever really know what of the week it is for you much less the time. ;)

For the late night Americans and the early morning Brits,

What percent of your personal life do you share at Lit? Are you bothered by when someone won't share something you that you are okay to share yourself?

If i trust the person and I feel they are interested I am happy to share, trust naturally tends to swing both ways, that said no matter what level of trust is built up it will not extend to sharing chocolate covered raisins, or banoffee pie:D

A new topic - what is your most disliked word? That word that if someone was to say it in any context it's game over / deal breaker. It doesn't have to be sexual.

Another question, is your patience at Lit better or worse than in real life. I'm not the most patient person but I would say I'm probably more patient here.

I would say at Lit I am more patient.
One can always log out and walk away for a bit.
Not so easy to do that with life outside of Lit.

*laughs* Patience with what? Assholes? I don't have patience for them here or IRL.

Can't say as I have a specifically disliked word... it's about the mannerisms behind how you speak, and the quality of your speech. But insults to my face generally don't fly with me.

It's about the same. Here, I get to laugh more than I do in real life, but that's about it, and only because there's so much more to laugh at. Doesn't make me more or less patient. I just bring my RL attitude to the boards.

LOL, good point, assholes don't get any of my patience.

I was thinking, waiting for a reply, taking things slower, being more understanding....... Not pulling your zipper down quite so fast....

I have 3 but I'm not fool enough to say what they are because surely as I do they will decorate my inbox and the response to every post I make. (I do love ya'll but really, am I wrong?)
Mostly the more I know a person the more I can overlook it but in a first or second encounter (PM, exchange of posts, etc) there are a couple of words and one phrase that will put me off.

You are wise one, absolutely your inbox would have been filled.

No need to divulge, just curious on how prevalent word limits are.

I have a couple. I also have some that when used in every day conversation are a deal breaker but used in proper situations are not. So saying they are only used in strict situations so chances are they would be deal breakers as well.

I would say more patient here with some things. As people have said, so much easier to ignore people or just walk away.

I've been saving this one......

You've met the partner of your dreams here. It ran the natural course over months and months, never have you been so happy. Ever! You agree to meet, both of you are thrilled, the big day comes. You meet and come to find out your soul mate has a hygiene issue that you couldn't have detected thru any of the ways you interacted. It's so bad, so....so bad.

What do you do?

Apparently I'm needed here.

Tell him, "let's go have some sexy time in the shower".

Seriously, to not know before meeting someone's bathing habits would be odd. When you're camming, do they get up and say they need to wash after the spunk loaded on their tummy?

It may not be a shower fix. Maybe it's a gland issue, maybe his breath is horrorific, maybe he's a nose picker........

That's a sorry state of affairs. When he has a cold do you see he is blowing it? I'm not above telling someone to go brush their tongue. And here's some parsley too. Okay on your spunk vacay, back off the beer, garlic and onions.

I think my issue would be is he going to fart in front of me, under covers?

Wishing my bosom buddies many fine afternoon delights

I have all the patience in the world, Job is a close relative, it's my tolerance level that hit's the red on occasion, BS is a powerful provocador.

What you mean it didn't reach the ceiling?????:eek:

You are twisted, I like that.

What do I do? If this is the first time I'm physically meeting my guy then it depends.
If all else is the same, if the connection is as strong then I'm going to be a grown up and deal with it. There could be circumstances I don't know about so if this is the love of my life I'm going see how our next meeting goes. (It isn't like the first one is going to be a sleep over now is it?) If the problem and the feelings persist to the second encounter then I say something--something kind because I'm not without flaws but still something. "Honey we got to talk about this."
If on that first meeting it's more than just the bad habit, if the chemistry collapses and there is in fact nothing there that's different. Why say anything at all? Pleasant meeting, nice date, warm goodbye. The sad reality of online friendship.

I think if he didn't know how to wipe his ass properly, that one could be a deal breaker. We can shower and clean up this time, but he's still got to wipe up next time. Ya know?
