Happy Tuesday! Yesterday I made a comment about being rusty with my topics and ine reply was to not worry, just part of the natural ebb and flow of the place. And yesterday did seem to be a slow day at Lit. But I think it also feeds off itself. If something fun is going on we tend to jump in. If it's slow and boring we tend to stay away. It usually takes a person or to to be that ignition, that spark. Do you wait for that spark or do you try and be that spark?

I have magic pixie dust, does that count?

For now Lit is taking me to that place, away from my still discontentedly beeping -after being thawed up and cleaned- freezer, towards a place where that obnoxious sound fades into the background.

I'm not sure I'd use the word 'magical,' but Lit certainly affords me a reprieve from all of the challenges I face in real life. Less so now than a year ago when I started, though. I don't know if that means I'm dealing with my life better, or that Lit is becoming less interesting. Maybe a little of both.

I try to make where I am my magical place. I believe that everything happens for a reason, most of which I don't understand and may not ever understand. However, I try to make the best of all circumstances and make each day magical in its way.

Lit is a distraction. It is a stop along the way, a place to take pictures, grab a bite, drink it all in and, if you're lucky, you can grab a souvenir.

Lit was my magical place when I was going through a really rough patch. .. it's still an interesting place. I'm not sure I'll ever be done with it.

Lit is my escape, and anything that can whisk me away to my happy place and away from the stresses in my life is magical, as far as I' m concerned. Add in bareback riding, and it' s not only magical, it' s the happiest place on earth. Sorry Disney.
