Or it proved perky's point in that we sometimes drift off topic when we see friends and say hi. ;)

I turn my back for a few hours...

I've been trying to loosen the reigns a bit on the weekends, let all the Litiquette-izans blow off some steam.

The biggest reason for keeping this thread on the straight & narrow is that when it drifts the perception is that it looks cliquey whether or not it really is.

Some drift thread is a natural extension of that topic and I'd never do a correction there.

And 90% of the time it self corrects, which is good.

Whether I'd rather have it drift and stay on page 1 vs staying on topic and drift to page 5. Nobody likes seeing their thread on page 5 but having it always stay on page 1 isn't a big deal either. So I guess the answer is someplace in the middle.

Boobs and cake , I like both :)
 
I absolutely post after people intentionally, at times. To be playful, friendly, or just be part of the conversation. And, I will avoid posting after someone if I really don' t like what they' ve said. But that hardly ever happens, anymore anyway :rolleyes:

I'll second this. I'd be in about two threads if it wasn't for Rainshine. She's more adventurous than I am at my olde age. (I'm so olde I spell it with an "e"). But if you ever see me out of the How To section (other than this thread), it's because I hid in the bushes and followed Rainshine there. I casually stroll in to the thread as if I belong, but I've clearly got Rainshine's scent on my nose.

Other than her, I can't say I just interact differently because of who posts on a specific thread. I may engage with my few other friends. But I don't follow anyone around.
 
As to the OP's question: It's a mood thing with me. There are some go to Litsters I like to see what they're up to. Some because I enjoy what they have to say and some because I know they drag drama in their wake. Today's earlier Puppy Pile seemed to be doing just fine without any additional help. I'm really not a joiner on the whole. If a thread looks too crowded, I wander off to another one.

I suppose. But it seems there is a general consensus on some people. I just wondered if anyone would fess up who their untouchables are.

I don't know who the untouchables are, but I have untouchable areas unless you have permission, does that count? :D
