I kinda like it myself.. I've seen some very sweet women here launch into someone and not only was it surprising it was fun to watch.

IMO, the worst are the people that come in and try to bring order into the riot..If you're not gonna get in the mud with us and act like a douche as the rest of us are.. IMO, just shut the hayall up.

Yeah it can be fun, it's just when it becomes a group thing that I start to dislike it.

There's no way I would try to join in and act like a fucking peace maker. That's just begging for trouble. I'll just shut the fuck up and read the thread anyway, with a part of me disliking it and the enjoying the show.

I'll save my douchiness for when it’s less than four people against one. They deserve some shit after all.

Agree with Thandi in saying sorry on behalf of the good people of lit, for the idiotic ones.

Waaaaay back when I started I was really afraid people wouldn't get my sense of humor and get their feelings hurt unintentionally. Mostly I've found that is a carry over from my RL in stepfordville suburbia. No one here is near as pervy, dirty minded, or snarky as me. so after a day or three I figured out I could truly be myself here and it was a huge relief.

Actually, it's been a good week, and it's been a really good week here in Litiquette-ville. Lists, graphs, pics, debate, it's been all here.

It might be tough to follow up next week. But I'm not scared. Speaking of scared, what fear, if any, did you have to overcome to start posting here.

No fear. I'm the take me or leave me sort. I bounced around the forums to see who and how people would take me. I get the impression from initial reactions, I might sound a bit harsher than I am. We've all been away for a period of time, for whatever reason, and come back and had to "catch up" with our favorite threads. Is the "catch up" read as good as being in the moment, either as you watch things unfold from a distance or were you to join in?

some threads you don't need to "catch up" on. others like this i enjoy going back and reading the posts.. been off a little over a week. getting settled in the new home away from home. hit the ground running with work. no internet at the casa yet. hotspotting off the phone for now.
