I am a maiden of Winterfell and prefer the cold to the hot.

We have 4 distinct seasons here and I certainly enjoy our summers - I feel like we appreciate them more because of the cold winters.

Besides, I can't sleep when it is hot and that makes for a cranky Suz. No one likes that.

I would honestly love to know what 4 seasons are like. Western Washington doesn't really have them. Rain. Snow, and too hot for my liking (however, nothing compared to most people's "hot")

It’s going to be a very hot weekend in much of the US. I hope everyone has a place to be safe and comfortable. Today’s question: is the sweltering heat of mid-summer better or worse than the bone chilling cold of mid-winter? Sure it’s all relative, and results are biased by your current season but if you had to choose one, which would it be?

Heat means the beach so no choice at all, as long as there is A/C for sleeping.

Struggle. At least right now.

Alcohol would help...then again, in the old days when such things crossed my mind the only time I posted pics here was when I had a bunch of liquid courage. So...that isn't different.

I'm really comfortable in my own skin. I was raised by a mother who was careful to not be critical of herself and others and it made a huge difference. My body is pretty freaking amazing. I mean, it's growing another human right now. I also love all the scars I've collected over the years. They're a testament to how hard I can fight when I need to

Never had a ton of body confidence, even when I should have. I distinctly remember counting the number of things "wrong" with my body when I was a teenager....I wish I had realized it was superficial and only reality existed in my head.

Before Covid. Me and my boyfriend. My cousin and her husband were planning a trip to Machu Picchu for early next year. We've had to postpone til travel is back to normal or at least whatever the new normal is going to be. With that being said. I would drop everything for a week in the Maldives.

But I'm increasingly of the opinion that just says fuck it. This is who I am, take it or leave it. I've got nothing to be proud of, and I'm sure as fuck not going to waste time trying to compete with good looking dudes. Mortified? Absolutely. But unashamed.

this is a tough one because (1) fashion.

not a scrap of fabric to drape here or there? some woven chain mail, perhaps? a fig leaf or three? a grass skirt, maybe?

methinks my heels and bag would look silly against my freckles and cellulite.

secondly, i have a squeamish practicality matter to this whole naked-all-the-time thing, as the owner of three holes down there (ya got that, pmann? troix! ). if i were ever on naked and afraid the *first thing* i'd do (after making shoes) is make coverings for said holes. and only then would i be willing to sit down.
