Tall people have an advantage with people who prefer tall mates. AGG is a good example. She's like, what, 6' 10"? She professes to have no interest in men shorter than she is. So, yeah, NBA players have an advantage with her. To extrapolate from that example that tall men have an advantage over shorter men when it comes to appealing to women in general might be a mistake.

I could find no definitive study of this matter, but it's a difficult question. Tall and short are subjective terms and mean something different to each person. I think of truly tall as 6' 8" or something. Somebody else may say tall is 6' 1". So, there is really no way to answer this question definitively.

I did, however, find a study where the female participants were asked about their preference of height in a man compared to their own height. College age women preferred a man taller than themselves 55% to 45%, while women in their 30s and older split evenly on the matter.

I’m a hair over six feet tall and have dated men taller and shorter than me. I have never given two fucks about a man’s height. What I do care about is short men with little man syndrome. Drives. Me. Bananas. Few things have the capability of making me more mad.

Anyone over 5” 5 is tall to me But small man syndrome isn’t nice to see and I agree, definitely a turn off. You don’t need to be tall to be confident, have presence.

I’m short so a guy shorter than me as Stacy said would indeed be a near midget. I do think there is a certain presence with a tall guy but he has to have the personality to go with it.
