This. People who know me at church would be shocked to know me here. Is one side of me any more or less a part of me? Just because I don't share what is inside my head, doesn't mean it's not still there.
I had a cop hug me today, and rub my back. I was crying because I was angry, not because I was scared which is what he thought. He immediately came to my defense against the other person. I used his misconception to my advantage, and the outcome was in my favor. I totally manipulated the situation. Did he ever see it as that? Nope. Just because he didn't see it doesn't mean it wasn't there, and right in front of his face. I think lit is that way. We see what we choose to see. People on Lit show us more than they tell us but are you seeing it?

On average, how much of who people really are do you think everyone puts themselves here? 50%, 75%, 90%?
I think it's relative to how much of themselves they hide in their day to day lives. If they suppress 85% of their true selves on a daily basis, we probably get the majority of that here. If they are pretty open in real life, we will surely get less.

You guys have a lot of faith in people.
Not any more. I realise now that my natural response to tears was to try to shut them down, primarily in order to make me feel better. It's a bit like the way that a parent tries to quieten a small child who has grazed a knee by telling them to "be brave and stop crying". That's not necessarily the best thing for the child who is attempting to express their raw pain.Nah. Men just can't handle tears. They panic.
Well it’s Saturday afternoon here, so I guess that counts me out!
Friday's frolicking floundered, will Saturday's sexy succeed?
Or
When you wake up does your first thought for the day set your mood for the day?

My British friends are enjoying Mother's Day today.
Wait...what are we drinking?
I vote for something warm and creamy
