Whipping out the dick straight up without any kissing or wandering hands is a bit presumptuous. One could feel annoyed and on the verge of getting pissed. Feels like a booty call. (A long thought out one.)
But also depending on the girl, she could say something along the lines of "oh no you don't big daddy, put Mr happy away." Make it clear she's not interested, a bold lighthearted comment made in order to preserve and continue on with the friendship.

Me, I might be a mix of both depending on how much I wanted the social friendship. I'm a pretty straight up lady, no sugar coating or reading between the lines with me.

That’s a tough one, Dark. I think you’ll find reactions may be very woman dependent.

Personally, I would be unlikely to get myself in that situation. If sex was definately off the table, and I knew the guy still wanted me? Yeah, a sizable cooling of period before trying resume that type of hanging out.

Disrespectful? You, bet. Buuuut, tricky line for lots of people, and not just men. Which is why I came to the the above cooling off rule.

For the scenario you’ve described? If I found myself there, chances are it would probably mean I hadn't entirely ruled out the possibility of further sex.

When you are having a bad day (or week/month/fiscal quarter/equinox) - what do you do to make yourself feel better?

Also, it depends on the funk. Is there a decision to be made? Healing to be done?

If there are decisions I like to get out someplace on my own. Preferably in the middle of the woods. For several days. Take everything I need with me and just be alone. ALONE. In the quiet, have time to think without outside pressure.

If I need to heal? Something to the effect of aftercare. Cancel what I can, hole up at home, order food in, watch movies. Just close off from the stress as best I can and let my body and mind have downtime.

I think, like many people, the answer to this is dependent upon the situation, severity, etc.
However, to not use that as a cop-out to avoid answering: I am a natural introvert and so I retreat into myself. My process is to internalize the process and work through it as logically as I can which can sometimes take awhile. I try to distract my as well by keeping busy, usually building something.

Oh yeah, and lots of whiskey, grilled meats, and masturbation of course!
