One time in college we rented Muppets In Space with our friend's Dad's Blockbuster card. We got stoned, watched it, and promptly forgot about it.

Months later he called, furious, because of some exorbitant late fee-- in the ballpark of $80? And we had to fess up that, yeah, we were degenerates who used his card to irresponsibly rent Muppet movies.

Lol. This is a good story. I love it. The Muppets. t least I was jerking off to B grade movies. Yours is more embarrassing.

I got a late fee on a porn once. There's no way to explain that you're taking your time with it.

Okay. Suzanne masturbates to the Hannity show, while I watch.
No, I masturbate to John Oliver and Anderson Cooper. Just like you. ;)

Hmmm, Muppets In Space as a stoner movie never occurred to me... I wonder if it would still hold up today. I may need to have some gummies and YouTube that shit.

I don't believe for one second that you have not jerked off to The Muppets.

I mean, Miss Piggy does have tits...

I'd titty fuck her. Then do her piggy style. Like doggy style but greasy and with more squealing.

I'd totally have group sex with Dr Teeth and The Electric Mayhem.

I'm marveling at yesterday's conversation from Comcast to obscene produce to muppet sex...
Guys? We are pretty fuckin funny. I'm proud of us. :D

New topic:

So, do you collect art? What's in your house? What's your tchotchke situation like? Or tinkie-winkes, as my dad would say. When you sit in your living room, what are you surrounded by? What are some of your favorite items to rest your eyes upon?

My favorite room is our lower level office/living room. It has an outdoor motif compete with 2 deer mounts, a trophy walleye, an antique fly rod and some outdoorsy art.

I know, look at us having fun. Papa Chained is gonna have his lace knickers in a wad when he gets back and sees us enjoying ourselves. Situations all around, for shizzle.

I do not collect art. The closest I came to purchasing any "real" art was a sketch from Salvador Dali. I just couldn't bring myself to fork over the funds. I have a couple of pictures from an artist down in South Florida. But that was more about just liking the paintings, not because of the artist.

I don't have lots of tiny little decorations sitting around. Those things, if not carefully placed, can become clutter. And oh my god I hate clutter. Most pictures I hang are decorative. I have very few pictures of family. I don't need their faces on my wall.

I do have a music room being built and that will be my favourite room when it is done. It will have guitars and cellos and other stringed goodness on the walls.

Not all in the living room, but: A picture by an artist friend which was formerly exhibited at the Royal Academy in London, a couple of watercolours by a street artist in Sicily (just coz I liked them), a photograph of the Eiger on a really sunny day, a repro of an elaborate Turkish sultan's signature, a very old photograph of a school cricket team (looking at the dates and their ages, it's highly likely that the majority of them were killed fighting in the first world war :()

And two small bronze sculptures (no more than six inches high each). One by an Italian sculptor was a birthday present on a significant birthday, the other is a quite rude depiction of a couple, her astride him, them kissing. Aw...

I'm with pmann, though, I don't want to be dusting lots of stuff.

What about you, Trekka?

First of all...I love the word tchotchke!

My living room has canvasses that my kids painted over the years. My sewing room has clothing plates taken from old catalogue and pattern books. All over my house I have elephants...my favourite is a beautifully carved rocking elephant my dad bought me when I was in my early 20's.
Lastly...and maybe weirdly...I'm a fabric nut...so I have this tri fold rack in my living room with beautiful scarves draped all over it as a kind of divider. I wear them when the urge strikes and look at them the rest of the time.

I like original artwork and have quite a few paintings throughout the house - none by anyone famous. In the living room, my favorite is a beautiful abstract cityscape that is 6 feet long - the brush strokes are really beautiful when you look closely and the colors are striking when you stand back. I love it.

I like to collect items from my travels or gifts from friends during their travels. In the living room current favorites are a tea pot/cup from Thailand, a painted tray that I found in northern MN, a cute carved Japanese anime doll and a clear vase with beach glass collected over the years. I also like old maps and have a few that are framed - mostly in the office and a couple at the cottage.

It sounds like I have a ton of stuff, but I don't like clutter, I swear. So I am selective about what I keep and I only display things I really love.
