We also mark paper ballots by filling in circles with blue or black ink only. We then put them in a privacy envelope/sleeve and hand it to a polling volunteer who feeds it into a machine that stores it or reads it? Who knows.

I always take three "I Voted" stickers. One to wear to work and two for my nipples. For later. I like election day a LOT.

We'll need confirmation pics to validate your enthusiasm for Election Day

Did an absentee mail in vote this year. Which doing from now on.

They should totally modernize the process though. Maybe some kind of online way where you can do it by your driver's license or something like that.

I purposely tested the system this year. We bubble in little circles with a black pen. I marked two votes for senate. Just to see what would happen. I wanted the inside scoop. Well, the machine spit my ballot back at me. Then they had to give me a new one.

Apologies for being late.

Feels like a good day for a "no citation" Wednesday. Post your boobies, your perverse, your hauntily sexy or your simply stunning all free from reprisals and condemnation.

Fine...

Happy post election day, love sergeant Aussie

Awwwww, it's been a long time since I've seen DS around here. I don't have the stickers anymore, but here's a selfie from earlier tonight for you. :D

good morning friends.

When was the last time you made a new friend? That's not something that's easily done and the older we get I think the less often we make new friends. And is an online friend the same as a in person friend? What if the online friend is made in secret?

I make new friends every day. I just keep running out of paper supplies...

seriously, everyone I meet each day I treat as a new friend. the trouble is very few people think the same way.

online friends are voiceless faceless entities. sometimes you can put a voice or picture to them, but they aren't "real" in the sense of a person you meet every day. Don't get me wrong, they have feelings, and sensibilities (or sometimes the lack thereof), but they can be here today, and gone the next in a poof of drama.

I tend to view online folks as acquaintances until they cross over into the real world.

I picked up a pair of friends earlier this year at a conference. We hit it off sitting outside on a bench crowd watching and realized we were neighbors, so connected when we got back, socialized and became friends.

I'm an extrovert, so I routinely add new people to the circle of IRL friends. Can never have too many friends.

I make new friends all the time. Believe it or not, I'm charming as hell

I'm all seriousness, I'm a lover by nature and people respond well to that. I make the effort to make and maintain friendships. They're important to me. These days with social media, it's much easier to keep a wider circle of friends.

Without a doubt. Between social media and smart phones it is much easier to stay in touch with people, even as they scatter over the world.
