Literotica Trip Planning Thread

Well with my new job let me know which one you guys plan and Ill do my darndest to be there ..

Etoile we can talk about it this next week when we meet up..
:rose:

Hi, I can't say for sure, if I will be turning up, as I am currently on the hunt for new jobs, since there are now some questionable future about my current job, so with that and the fininacal situation I am in, I can't say for sure whether if I will be able to go.

If it was next summer, maybe won't be a big problem, but right now, it is a waiting game!

:)

I am hoping to go to Europe next spring or summer, we will definitely have to get together for that! I might not make it further north than London though - how long a trip is that for you?

London is fine for me, and if my brother still live there by then, I will deffo make my way down, and meet up with you then, and stay at his flat...but if not, I will still make my own way down!

:)

Yeah, fuel supplements are standard these days. Bus lines have raised their fares, airlines have fuel supplements, cruises do too, all to account for oil being $100+ per barrel.

Yes, those prices are for the whole cruise, it includes food and and activities entertainment and everything! You have to pay for drinks and shore excursions. (I usually sneak some liquor of my own on board, and mix it with the juices you can get anytime.)

Cabins usually hold two people. If you put more than two people in a cabin, their prices are cheaper. Say it's $400 each for the first two people, it might be $100 for the 3rd person. So the total is $900, and you split that three ways and it's $300 each. Those are made-up numbers but it's pretty close to normal.

Looks like it's $250-300 for airfare from the L.A. area to Florida.

Total cost about $700 for me. I cant make that, maybe if I can hitch a ride across the country

-shrugs-

If I happen to be in Florida at that time I will let you know, cant place an early order though.

:(

You know I'm on board for which ever one you all choose. I'll probably end up with a suite FYI.

Count at least one.

Well excellent! Since nobody has voiced an opinion, I'm going to declare this one our pick - more ports, cheaper prices, even if it is on Carnival. (I have no experience with them, so this will be a good opportunity for me to try them out.)

January 5, 2009: Carnival Imagination, 4 nights. Leave from Miami, 1 day in Key West, 1 day in Cozumel, 1 day at sea, and back to Miami. Starting at $269pp for the lowest cabin, up to $759pp for the big suite.

Anybody mind if I publicize it elsewhere on Lit?

Etoile...

Keep me posted if you do something for next Spring that's NOT on a boat. Right after the holidays is a BAD time for me, especially with having kids, and there is NO way my ass will ever get on a cruise ship.

That sounds great to me. I love spending time in KW and it is easier for me to fly to Miami personally. And the water will be perfect at that time of year in each port, so you know I'm game.

I personally don't mind where you post it so long as there are plenty of hotties coming along. :p

ETA: is there a website we can visit to see the info on the cruise? thanks!!

Okay then! How about flying, are you opposed to flying?

Now that I have arbitrarily picked a cruise, I will get started on a webpage for it pronto! I've never been to Key West myself, but I'm very excited to go. :)

The website is ready, but I'm running it by Laurel first. I want to know if she's okay with it before I go blabbing. This is, after all, her baby - I don't know if I should make it sound official without her permission! Besides, I really hope she'll come. ;)

Do let me know, if you are planning a Spring/Summer holiday, I might be able to come along then!

:D

Doing her happy dance cause she is going somewhere WARM!!!

Thanks for all of your hard work in getting the logistics worked out for this trip Etolie!

This sound perfect for me.... well any where warm in Jan sound perfect for me!!

I look forward to seeing the web site and getting registered.

Nola Litogether

Some of us are thinking New Orleans on 2/14/2009. It would be the weekend before mardi gras weekend so we could catch a parade:D

Excellent! There has been interest in a European trip for next spring/summer, so I'll keep you in mind for that!

i would be interested for that as well, it would give me plenty of time to save up and figure out what to do with my dogs. :)

I'd be happy to plan that for you guys, but I wouldn't be able to join you. It's during school, and anyway that's my anniversary. :)
Who is "some of us"?

I haven't heard back from Laurel about the page I made. I hope more than just me and SweetGigi would be interested in going. :(

09 is a looooong time away.

By then I may even be living on the east coast some place. Who knows.

Ill keep you lady's in mind.

It's quite common to plan cruises a year in advance, actually. I dunno why, but almost everyone books a year in advance or even more. If you're interested in going, we can always hold off on booking your airfare until you know where you'll be living then.

Still no response from Laurel...maybe I should ping her again.
