It's partly the same social rules as in real life discussions - it's mostly about being considerate. I am definitely no perfect example, being socially clumsy at times (enough to be suspected of being neuroatypical).
To fully understand you need to know about the “purge “ in a time far far ago when The GB forum and Playground forum fought the cool kids war of words. lol once upon a time a poster in the playground made a thread to declare it theirs along with their lit compatible friends. They posted in that thread with each one taking the “ playgrounder oath of hazing newbies and separating themselves from the GB posters. Us verses them mob mentality of sorts. At least that’s how I read the thread and threads created in the playground at that time.
The easiest way to start conversations is not through PMs...but by interacting in threads. I know many people...me included...that will most likely not interact with a random PM from someone they don't know. Find a thread that interests you...plug away for a couple weeks.

Always interested in hearing some of your tales of cops and robbers. I spent a good part of the day outside mulching leaves with my riding mower. Did the neighbors yard to. It’s sweatshirt weather here , the cool air feels great.
I was never a hunter myself. I have a few friends that are. I wasn’t raised with it as a teenager so never really got that enthusiastic about it. As a teenager I use to go rattlesnake hunting in Florida on the regular but that’s about it. Got some pretty good sized ones too using a 12 gauge shotgun. But never deer , hogs or gators
like most of my peers at that time in my life.
I was all about lure bass fishing fresh water. Red fish and whiting salt water they are a lot like trout with snook being the prize fish to catch.
