Lit Trivia Game

And by the way, the 13 year old boy who sang, "I saw Mommy kissing Santa Clause" was Michael Jackson.

JUST A THOUGHT, but if you keep the questions very very simple...
ie something someone can answer off the top of their heads, you won't have to wait to see if someone answered the question.

Question:

What is your natural hair color?

That would be "The Hawks"

What actress was originally cast in the Jodie Foster role from "Panic Room" and what role did she end up playing in the film instead?

My sources tell me that Nicole Kidman was the original actress cast for the lead in "Panic Room," but since I didn't actually see the film, I have no idea if Kidman actually showed up in another part...

And my natural hair color is a combination of black, dark brown and red. Really.

And my trivia question for the class is...why is it that everytime I post on this thread, it kicks me into 'Unregistered' status?

No, my real trivia question is, why aren't George W. Bush and his father simply called "George Bush Jr." and "George Bush Sr."?

Actually, Jimmy Boyd recorded "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" at the age of 13 in 1952.

Michael Jackson wasn't even a twinkle in his daddy's eye yet.

;)

The 41st President of the U.S. was George Herbert Walker Bush, while the 43rd President is George Walker Bush. They do not share the same exact name, hence the reason they are not "Sr." and "Jr."

Next question:

What is the shortest day of the year???

Q: What is the Canadian One dollar coin called?

Oops--sorry about the empty post.

It's called the...

WHO CARES!?! IT'S CANADA! WHY CAN'T YOU CRAZY NORTHERNERS JUST USE U.S. CURRENCY AND MAKE LIFE EASIER FOR ALL OF US?

Just kidding--as any good U.S. citizen, I have to perpetuate the myth that Canada is irrelevant to us. I've now fulfilled my public obligation, so please let this thread continue.

 And to think I use to like you. (jk) And I don't see how that is being a "good US citizen" I think it makes you one of the rotten stuck up snobs. American's are not better than the rest of the world despite what you all think.

A "good" Citizen recognizes and appreciates the differences.

And you still didn't answer the question.

Not intending to hijack thread feel free to ignore

That's why I used the word 'myth.' Hey, some of my best friends are Canadian! OK, some of my former best friends are Canadian!

I'll venture a guess...'White Christmas' performed by Bing Crosby, for the film of the same name?

Sorry, don't remember the composer.

I'll refrain from posting a question until I can figure out whether I actually got this one right this time? (and Rosy--:p for pointing out my error--why didn't anyone tell me that I'm not omniscient?)

No extra credit...well, maybe the curve will save me!

Back to obscure U.S. sports trivia--why did the owner of the NBA basketball team in Washington, DC, change the name of the team from the 'Washington Bullets' to the 'Washington Wizards?'

I believe the change was made because many in the DC area were worried that "bullets" sent the wrong message in the Murder capital of the US.
