Do you share pictures of others?
In my time at Lit I have passed along a picture of myself to about 15-18 people. Some are considered friends, some are people I used to talk to, some were people that I trusted and happened to exchange pics with.
There are also many people I would consider some type of casual internet friend but which pictures have never come into play and probably never will.
Even in the pre-hanns days when Lit was perceived as more secure (even though it wasnt any more secure) I was not one to pass along pics. And my pic has never been posted to the board.
On two separate occasions my picture(s) were exchanged between two Litsters without my knowledge. needles to say I wasnt amused upon finding out.
On a third occasion a Litster pleaded and tried to convince someone who had my pic to share it with them. This person was kind enough to lemme know and to not sahre the pic. But my respect for the pleader dropped like a stone and I still have issues with him/her.
Now, pics are not something I care to share with others if I happen to have them of Lit people. Some gleaned fromt eh board, some exchanged, but none passed along. I dont think I have the right to do so.
Does anyone have any thought on pic swapping that involves the pics of a third party?
Have you done it? Do you think its ok to do?
