Lit personals

This isn't so much a how to as much as a what if that could turn into a how to.
What if lit created a personals site along the lines of myspace/adult friendfinder.
I like myspace for what it is but it doesn't really allow much expression of the sexual nature.
And as far as Adult friend finder, well I could never see myself paying for it.
It seems like it could be free if you got advertisers like myspace has. Maybe have an option where contributing members can avoid the ads or something.
I never go to the lit personals looking for anything more than light entertainment because that seems like about all it usually has to offer. I think it's mainly because the format of the personals section isn't particularly conducive to well getting personal.

Right that's what I meant.
The lit personals make it hard to find people in your area, plus they are only people who are seriously looking for something in particular.
Something like myspace gives you the ability to look for people with simlar interests and commonalties even if you aren't actively looking for something in particular.

You already have a fair amount of latitude with your profile page here. You can insert a picture of yourself that is separate from your avatar. You can include a link to another page as your "home page" and, of course, your conversations in the forum provide an ongoing and real presentation of who you are.

I understand what you're suggesting, but many people have found that it's not at all difficult to meet someone through Lit. In fact, many seem to experience high levels of satisfaction with meeting people here (ymmv, of course), though there are asshats everywhere and so not every such meet-up is successful.
