Same! I've been enjoying reading through the deplorable meltdowns on here. Poor things took it hard.
A couple of them still are taking it hard-- still trotting out the same tedious arguments, oblivious to what it means that their cult leader was personally rebuked in the same election that other Republican assholes won by a comfortable margin.

Vette disappearing was very sudden and happened a few weeks prior to the election, not after. So either his travels are longer than usual (and came without an announcement he'd be traveling), he left in advance of Trump's defeat because he didn't want to face the music (despite his optimistic claims that Trump was home free), or he's dead.
(Another option — that he just left without fanfare because he finds the rest of life more interesting — I have not really considered because this is Vette after all.)
Busybody will probably stick around, though. Like a lot of them, he doesn't actually have an affirmative belief in anything in particular; he just knows what he hates. He's more animated when he's in the opposition.

I don't wanna say the name and give him floss, but you probably already know who it is. Between this time last year and now, he must have burned through about five or six alts. Schmucks are funny that way.

about VetteGuide...to be fair, he did say a few times in certain posts that he was planning on busting a move from Cali to Idaho towards the end of the year. And towards the end, there was a post he made to Aglaopheme — whom he had a lil' internet crush on cuz he kept calling her "Aglo" in pseudo-flirts — saying he was gonna bounce in a week or whatever and for all the liberals to enjoy the momentary rest before he returned.
now, him being Cheeto's most ardent cheerleader on here to the point of self-parody...I still don't know to this day whether he truly was ride-or-die for that motherfucker. Even Stevie Wonder could see what a trainwreck of a presidency Cheeto was about. Vette always had a modicum of sense compared to the other nimrods in this forum's right-wing glee club. If he really was about that life, then we most likely will never see him on here again (under the same name) as he kept swearing up and down that asshole was going to win.
and thanks to a great number of incredibly stupid, racist and ignorant people in this country, he almost did win. But that "almost" wasn't a close margin. And the specifics of that "almost" gives you the very reason why all the schmucks here ghosted or got their lips sewn shut, every week we get closer to next year's inauguration and Cheeto's ass boot out the front door becoming an inevitable reality.

OK, I missed all that. Hey, if it weren't for the people, I'd rather live in Idaho than California too.
I suppose I am enjoying the rest, though I'm a little impatient to learn what finally became of the John Durham investigation. Without Vette, literally the only person on Earth who was paying attention to it, I will never know the final chapter.

Remember, they spent the entire Clinton administration screaming "Character does matter!", and then they fell madly in love with Dumbya, who was himself guilty of nearly everything they had accused Clinton of, up to and including his wife being responsible for the death of an innocent friend. I don't recall any of them giving a second thought to their hypocrisy.
