lingerie - ladies (or guys!) I need advice

Hey everyone (I hope this is the right forum... there are so many forums!)

Looking to buy some garters in particular (but always interested in sexy lingerie) to surprise my girlfriend! I'm not complete opposed to buying stuff online but lingerie always runs small and I'm a larger girl (pretty much a size 18/20) so I'd love to at least look at the stuff before I buy it.

So I ask all you in Lit-Land - do you know of stores that sell plus-size lingerie (particularly garters)?? I'm going to check out a Fredrick's of Hollywood this weekend, but I'm afraid to get there and find out plus-size is online only or something :/

Even if you have a favorite site, maybe just give me the heads up if it runs small? I appreciate your help! <3

I am not sure if they carry garters, but Lane Bryant sells plus size lingerie in their stores under the brand Cacique. It's not all super sexy, but they have a few thong and sexier styles.

I know for a fact that Hustler does- a buddy of mine who's a bigger guy gets a lot of stuff there.

There's also a store called "Priscilla's" here that specializes in larger sizes, but I don't think that they're a chain...

Frederick's sometimes have up to size 44 corsets/garters in the store. Lane Bryant and Torrid has some but the selection is limited. Torrid will have more during the Halloween season due to costumes.
