What are your top five-ten favorite musicians/artists...of any era, or style, not in order?
Alternatively, tell me your top five-ten favorite songs...again, doesnt have to be limited to an era, a style, etc


One of my favorite artists in my top 10 is Chvrches.
They have two songs that compete for my favorite of theirs. At least one of them would be in my top 10 fave songs ever.

Ben Harper in all iterations, with the Innocent Criminals, as Relentless 7, his release with his mum...

G Flip - Solid Aussie artist making waves in the US at the moment.

Gang of Youths

Coldplay

Powderfinger

Pearl Jam

Baker Boy - Aussie indigenous rapper

Budjerah - another Aussie indigenous performer who has a voice that's amazing. He performed on our local radio station Triple J the other day. They do a segment called Like a Version. This is it and it's fucking amazing.

The Alchemist (most things he has worked on)

And now I'm realising how hard this is!!! My music taste is very broad and I love a lot of music. This is a snap shot but hard to encapsulate all that I love or decide on what's my favourite

Living Color. (Favorite song is

. It's the last track on Vivid and boy did I get some mileage to work on my voice in high school with it.)
Nate Smith (Besides World on Fire, did some other songs that cut right to my heart)
Sara Evans (Saints and Angels)
Ronnie Milsap ( What a Difference You Made in my Life, No Time at All)
Skillet (Monster, The Last Night)

I think that's a decent list. There's probably tons more, but this is a start.

At the risk of being intense and responding too late,

To answer your "vampire" question, I was once using a table saw and argued with it about whcih way a piece of wood should go. Thankfully it was a 1/4" chunk of plywood and I had dropped the blade like a good boy (but was not using a push stick like a smart boy).

I thought that I might lose one of the fingers on my left (non dominant) hand for a few hours, then that I might not be able to use it ever again for a few days.

So I would happily forego a testicle to keep my fingers and my dexterity

Essentially any like early 2000-10s track hits and my taste in music varies from Pop Princess to deppressy Emo LOL

Good morning Kit.
It is a good thing you came to Seattle last weekend.
This weekend, they are hosting a Sounders (soccer) game today in one stadium while the Mariners (baseball) host the Tigers in the other.
Tomorrow, the Seahawks (football) are hosting the Buccaneers before the Mariners host their second game against the Tigers.
Add to that all the road construction in that area and you have a great reason why I will not be anywhere near the area this weekend.

Gotta love living near large cities even though the area I live in isn't so bad.

I dont care about the NFL as you probably recall but I tend to root for LA...so I prefer the Rams
