I think it can take a lot of different things to make a thread "catch fire".
I cant speak for everyone or anyone else, but I have opinions on why some of the threads might be more "popular" than others. I know one main reason for me is daily engagement...whether that is posting content, questions, humor, whatever, it takes some dedication...a lot of my time (too much to be fair and it burns me out periodically).
I respond to nearly every comment (or used to), and every dm. But I think it helps with engagement because I give attention to everyone. I try to make sure everyone is heard and seen and respected, and hopefully in turn I dont get as many insanely rude comments or just trolls popping up or whatever. But I also view my followers as friends and would be happy to meet them in person for a drink or at the beach or whatever. I think I come across, or maybe try to come across is a better way to phrase it...as a "girl next door"...because I chat about sports and movies and work and music and tv and religion and politics and of course, am open about sex or whatever too. So theres a bit of a "oh man, she's cute and fun and I could meet her maybe!?" type of...lure? Maybe I am off-base, but just my perception and some messages have helped shape that opinion.
Also as a side note, I have started other threads that go nowhere or nearly nowhere...a coffee apprecition thread, a sports rant thread...but basically, we are on an adult forum. If I wasnt willing to show my body in revealing photos and videos, Id have wayyyyyy less followers and this thread would be 12 pages long or something!
Apparently, if you show your tits, youll get followers.
Hahaha.
So theres the line in the sand.
I don't know, I'm almost willing to say, most of us that you connect with, would just be happy to see you on the thread. With how well you reach out, and connect with those that give a....about you.
