We, as citizens of a nominally free nation, have free agency. We can decide which entities we want to do business with. We can buy, or not, their goods, services, or stock as is the individuals choice. We are under NO obligation to support any organization, company, or individual who espouses views that we don't agree with. For you of short memories, or life, that is exactly how WE collapsed apartheid in South Africa some 30 years ago. Money talks, bullshit walks.

As far as book banning is concerned, no books have been banned. No one has demanded that they be burned. What we have demanded is that WE, the parents, have dominion as to what is age appropriate for our children, not some snot nosed recent graduates from the various schools of education/indoctrination. If you, as a parent, want to purchase those books and make them required reading for your child have at it, no one is stopping you. If you can't be bothered......shut the hell up. And if that are that many of you that think those books are appropriate, there's always the next election.

Oh, and I'm NOT who you think I am, never was.

No, that is not what is happening. What is happening is that if even one parent complains - and those complaints are almost always for reasons rooted in plain old bigotry - the books get pulled off school library shelves. As far as the kids are concerned, that usually amounts to the same thing as banning the books.

And Gov. DeathSentence went to Yale and graduated not so long ago. Does he count as "a snot nosed recent graduate from a school of indoctrination"?
