So I have seen this repeated several times on this thread. Would someone care to better define this term considering it is Lit that we are all on and not a Library appreciation site.

I'll define what it means to me, but I speak only for myself.
Basically if you shove your junk in my face or if every time I post something you make it dirty I'm not interested.
If you ONLY talk about sex with no substance, I know we won't be able to have a conversation at all.
And actually many of us DO come here for the writing, and then discover other things which sometimes means friendships and in some cases, more.

But I dismiss anyone that is unable to make any statement without it directly referencing sex.

That seems to sum up how I feel also, although I haven’t been around nearly as long as many others here. My main problem is avoiding my posts constantly containing innuendoes, which are one of my favourite forms of comedy.

See I don't see that as necessarily as the same thing. It's the blatant, in your face, over the top stuff that gets gross. I know some people are here for that, but I require more finesse. YMMV

that helps, because I cant take the overt, blatant dick pics in the AV or in the profile. If you want that from me you are going to have to work very hard to get it, and then there is no guarantee that it will be exposed based on previous statistics

A crush has the connotation of a silly obsession that has no real possibility of coming to fruition. IMO.

I can't tell you how often I have had a casual conversation turn into something where my reply is "have I said anything that would lead you to believe I'm interested in talking dirty?". Seriously. I didn't realize "how was your weekend" could be interpreted any other way. It's almost caused me to close my inbox again.

Oh, and I do have crushes, but they're more of "I'm excited you're posting right now" kind.
