Recently I've gotten into small amounts of humiliation play (myself and partner), light femdom/pegging, and I'm still curious about bondage.
I've only ever done light bondage, and don't really care for hours and hours of ropeplay, but a four-poster spread eagle of my "victim" could be fun!
Pain, helplessness, and being turned on by stuff that I genuinely do not like/want... and having it pointed out to me how wet etc the stuff I genuinely do not want is making me (a bit of shame mixed into the "my mind abhors it but my treacherous body wants it" tension).
I'm also head over heels in love with some rope, Candle wax is my best friend... *sighs* Oh yes.
I really like wax play but we haven't figured out a way to keep the clean up, umm, clean. Any handy hints?

I know its pedestrian but we just wait for it to cool and scrape it off.
:shrugs:
It works.
I'm not heavily into hot wax play, though I enjoy it. Some friends who *were* frequent hot-waxers used economical clear plastic painter's sheets - they don't have to be really heavy/thick - for the play, so any spatters or runoff ended up on the sheet, and then she could stand on it for removal so it didn't end up in the carpet or other inconvenient places.I just wait until it cools (normally melt it again once while it's there) And then peel it off, over a towel. Hot soapy wash rag to wash the remains off. Shake the towel out

When they used more than one colored wax at a time, one of her follow-up tasks was to get down on the sheet and carefully separate the different colors so they could be re-melted and re-used.
(One sort of semi-amusing/semi-ironic fact: In cold weather, I hot-wax my own hands for therapeutic reasons in a device made for the purpose by Homedics. A good soaking in a quarter-inch or so of hot paraffin (6-8 layers) on my hands does wonders for arthritic pains and stiffness. As one who types for a major portion of his income, I need my hands to remain flexible, yanno?)
Parafin treatments are the bomb!
Parafin is also good for preserving home made food items like cheeses, jarred jellies and wine.
We just use candles for wax play. Is there special wax made for wax play?
My two cents...we have a "massage candle" and the wax is made from soy wax and shea butter with other oils that we use instead of regular candle wax. He ordered it online...it's more oily than candle wax, but just as effective for wax play.
