Let's talk about guns, shootings, solutions and idiotic suggestions

Hey, you're the one claiming military weapons are not designed to kill, but instead they are designed to be safe for the user....*chuckles*
I am just pointing out ( once again) the stupidity of your argument.....
I pity you. I pity the people who have to deal with you face-to-face even more.

The House votes on an assault weapons ban today. It should have bipartisan support, since it defines assault to include being slapped on the back in a supermarket.

'drunk' entitled cunt gets 60 days for threatening family of 2 adults and 3 small children wearing BLM tees
Steven L. Cibotti, 56, was charged with a hate crime over the incident, where he was eating at a restaurant in June of 2020 alongside a family that had just attended a BLM march. The family of five included three children aged seven, five and two who were wearing BLM T-shirts.
Cibotti, who was allegedly intoxicated, approached the table and yelled, "blue lives matter" and pushed their table.
When the family's father told to Cibotti to calm down, he replied, "F*** you, if I had a gun, I would shoot all of you."
good. hope it makes its mark.

Potts is a retired law enforcement official; at the time of the fatal school shooting in November '21, she was employed by Oxford Community Schools as an armed security officer. She "assumed" it was a school drill and that the girl lying bleeding in the hallway had really great makeup on for the part. really.
In the video, Potts is seen walking "casually" down the hallway during the shooting. She later told investigators that she assumed it was an ALICE drill, a lockdown drill to prepare students for an active shooter, the filing said.

Potts then came across one of the victims, 16-year-old Tate Myre, bleeding on the ground after being shot. She told investigators she thought he had "really good makeup on" as part of the ALICE drill, according to the filing.
The video also shows Potts peeping into the bathroom where Justin Shilling, Keegan Gregory, and the alleged shooter Ethan Crumbley were in, the families alleged. Potts told investigators that she did not go inside the bathroom, where Shilling was later killed, because she didn't see or hear anything.

what bothers me most is this woman was a retired law enforcement officer... she didn't bother to check the girl's injuries, even if she thought it was a drill... surely her actions as an armed security guard in the "scenario" would call for that 'role play' at the very least. Check on prone bleeding victims to see if they're injured in need of medical aid or dead and therefore less prioritised than the living.

The kids at Uvalde needed JR-15s to defend themselves from the evil maniac that didn’t care about laws. At least they could have defended themselves since no one else did, while their parents were held back by useless and incompetent police, who were busy doing fuck all while those kids were being killed.

“Give the guns to the government” & they’ll protect you.🙄 Yeah, right.

"Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms" should be a sign in a convenience store's window. :)

- The school system in Madison County, N.C., plans to put AR-15 rifles in emergency safes in each of its six schools as a part of a plan for enhanced security in the wake of the Uvalde, Texas, school shooting earlier this year.

"We were able to put an AR-15 rifle and safes in all of our schools in the county," Sheriff Buddy Harwood said. "We’ve also got breaching tools to go into those safes. We've got extra magazines with ammo in those safes."

A U.S. District Court judge says the operating body behind the Minnesota State Fair was within its rights to block guests from carrying guns on the fairgrounds.

The decision shoots down a lawsuit filed by Reverend Tim Christopher, Sarah Hauptman and The Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus back in August of 2021, accusing the State Agricultural Society (The Society) of violating their rights by enacting a ordinance keeping them from bringing weapons they are permitted to carry through the gates.
In his decision, Judge John Tunheim ruled claims by the plaintiff that The Society's rule is unconstitutional are "procedurally invalid and constitutionally unfounded." The judge also ruled against several other claims detailed in the lawsuit, including that The Society violated state law, deprived the plaintiffs of their federal or statutory rights and engaged in breach of contract.

Tunheim also dismissed a motion to remand the matter back to the Minnesota Supreme Court.

Georgia... an armed and (as it turned out) essentially dangerous idiot was numptying around a walmart with an unholstered, loaded gun in his waistband... caused panic and shot himself and injured 3 others when it slid down his leg and he grabbed it

general panic in the store, people running about, screaming about a gun and blood. fucker should be banned for life from entering that walmart and face charges for carrying a loaded weapon in such an irresponsible manner.

A man fumbled with his gun while inside a Georgia Walmart, causing it to discharged and strike four people including himself -- with a single bullet. The man is now recovering from his injuries, WSB-TV reports.
Michael Walton, 29, was carrying the gun in his waistband unholstered when it began sliding down his leg, causing him to grab for it.

“The gun was in his waistband not holstered and loaded. The gun slipped down his leg, he attempted to grab it, and was somehow manipulating the weapon and discharged the firearm,” said Sgt. Akeem Turnbull with Lovejoy Police.
this is what happens, walmart, when you don't actively discourage, even BAN guns from your stores. Could have been so much worse: stampeding frightened customers injuring others, or 'good guys with guns' opening fire on the guy shooting others!

gunz for skoolz!
A FedEx driver mistakenly left boxes containing a half-dozen military-style rifles at a public high school outside Philadelphia last Friday, according to police and school officials.

The guns, identified as .30 caliber M1 rifles, sat inside the Chester High School loading dock over the weekend, staff believing the unopened boxes to contain textbooks, CBS News reported.
or... auto repair shops... special deal when you get your motor fixed???
According to CBS, the guns were meant to be delivered to an auto repair shop, which has a similar address to the school.

The weapons were reportedly manufactured by Springfield Armory, which bills them as "a semi-automatic rifle inspired by the classic US Military M14," with the retail price ranging from $1,700 to more than $2,400 each.

Alabama; 4 Joe's Pawn Shop indictments follow the raid that followed a 4-month investigation involving loss prevention officers from walmart, target, lowe's and home depot. A quantity of the seized items were still in their original packaging.

Officials said they found almost $42,000 worth of stolen items in the store along with 263 guns and $88,000 in cash.

Pawn shop owner Joe Cephus Campbell III did not have a federal license to sell guns, according to ATF officials. He also pleaded guilty to a previous federal charge of conspiracy to deal firearms without a license.
