The infamous Lost Prophets singer passed away (or rather, was "offed") in prison a couple days ago.

The site's Terms of Service will not allow me to discuss his crimes in detail, but suffice to say, they were utterly horrific, and made those of Epstein and Robert Kelly seem rather tame. Even worse, unlike most predators who at least have some kind of self awareness, and a sense that they committed horrible crimes, Ian Watkins showed utterly no remorse, and even bragged about the horrible things he did.

In other words, if you are not familiar with this guy, look him up yourself- and most people would agree that he had it coming.

Most people. Not all, however.

In spite of everything he said and did- and not only was the evidence overwhelming, not only did he admit it, but he EVEN BRAGGED ABOUT IT, there are still fans of his who passionately stand with him, and who grieve at his passing, and who to this day, cry "Lawfare" and "Weaponized Justice System" and wax on and on about how unfair his conviction and imprisonment was.

That is the hallmark of a cult. Those who are so brainwashed, they will follow their idol to the end, even to the darkest of places, until their own souls become dark and corrupted. These are people who will continue to justify evil, to make excuses for it, in their brainwashed belief that they are following a higher and truer path. They lack the self awareness that they are following a dark and twisted path, blindly and obediantly following their leader.

We see this in all cults, with all those who follow despotic, brazenly corrupt and morally bankrupt leaders- even after they blatantly do terrible things.

Without naming names, we see many instances of this today. I pray for those who are in cults that one day, the light of truth will penetrate their poisoned brainwashed minds and they will wake up.
