What Externalizing Means in Psychiatry
Gay Republicans really are self-loathing, study finds
Almost Half of Queer Republicans Wish They Were Straight
Being gay is something to embrace, not suppress. Suppression of one's sexuality can cause a multitude of issues.
We've seen those issues play out on Literotica for years: the gay man who needs to preach the Bible every hour because he is unable / unwilling to come to terms with himself re: religion; the angry, closeted man berating other homosexuals, the member preaching hatred towards women in efforts to appear more macho, and so on. These types on Lit are a: often strongly attracted (or at least want to give the appearance that they are strongly attracted) to right-fringe politics as means of trying to deny / mask their issues or as part of a personality disorder, and b: flocking to Literotica because it provides a safer space for them to act out amongst other people while allowing them to indulge their desires in secret. But there's a price to pay, and it's paid by both them and others.
Certainly there are gay men who embrace Conservative politics who have concrete reasons for doing so while being assured and confident in themselves. But those men generally don't post here.
