I always say "jif" instead of "gif" and sh75 makes sure to correct me.
Maybe it's just because I like Jif peanut butter.

Ah, not Figure Skating then. Ice Skating and more specifically Irish Ice Dancing in their case. Gotcha!
Have a great day.
To clarify, this https://youtu.be/K6WuY6994zg

I don't understand. What are you clarifying, what Irish dancing is?
Speaking of Irish dance. Who remembers Riverdance at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, in Dublin?

And I have always loved this Ice Dancing routine at 1998 Olympic Games in Nagano by Bourne & Kraatz from Canada. They used Riverdance.

Yes as there did seem to be confusion initially as to what Shane meant and it was an excuse to post a dance video here
I didn't watch it at the time, but I do love the Irish dancing, it's mesmerising.
I forgot a whole bunch of stuff again https://voca.ro/1cQZKNjegTN8

It is isn't it.
I remember I was obsessed with Lord of the Dance and Feet of Flames for a long time after that.
No, the confusion was not about the type of dance. I'm familiar with Irish Dancing.
The confusion was between Ice Dance (as one of the four Olympic disciplines of Figure Skating) and Ice Dancing in general and/or Synchronized skating.
But dance videos are always welcome.
I totally understand you though I wager there are people on Lit that'd catch your butt before you fall down...
