All the praises from subservient men here notwithstanding. The typical kind I loathe are women who seem more or less incapable of writing more than a few words of trivia. For which reason might a man possibly write back to one of those? I received several PMs over time, but when a woman merely writes me “nice ad you wrote”, I can be sure she is illiterate. And all the writing that might ever happen between us needs to originate from my side. I may as well contact a piece of dead wood instead.
Now every once in a while a literate woman reads the ads on the Personals forum. And then the question arises: how much spoiling has happened to her throughout her life? If she grew up pretty, most likely a lot. So she is bound to feel entitled to lots of gifts of attention, without returning much of that back.
And only once in a blue moon, a literate woman reads an ad I wrote, who also has strong desires embedded within herself, for something I call “mutuality”. Maybe even because she is searching – like I do – for a connection we both find meaningful. One to enrich the two of us. And even more rarely will such a woman be full of vivid curiosity. Because she craves sharing, genuine sharing, in both directions. Fortunately most of the time this happens, the woman will also be blessed with an above-average intellect, and maybe she is even full of sapiosexual leanings and cravings.
But for this to happen, I fear that ALL the stars in the universe have to align just right, not just the sun and Venus. So – might this be the day it happens? I wonder, but my hopes are not terribly high.
