Sounds like a legitimate bitch to me. I hope you've crossed her off your fuck list.

Time zones really are seriously fucked! Especially in terms of keeping in contact with people. I hate it! Grrrr.

As for is it worth it.....

I think that is the question that many who take a step back from their computer are asking themselves, at least once or twice.... and its the hope that things are worth it that drives the rest of us

Yep...yep...yep. *in my best duckie voice*:D

A three hour time difference and 2600 miles made it a little difficult to maintain.

I've given up all on-line affairs, unless they live within a fifty mile radius!:D

Blurting and bitching?
You mean someone does that?

:D

Morning, JL :)

on line affairs do baffle me - why not have a real life affair ? it is much better fun and I will let you all into a secret - real sex is miles better than phone sex ......honest it is

Ok I suppose you can have some great on line friends from abroad that you can corressponde with etc - but I prefer the real life type of fucking

Morning, Pix:kiss:

I think most of us are guilty of it at one time or another. Not all the blurts are done on the blurt thread. I do my share throughout the board or there are a few people that get my bitch blurts in private.:D

Time Zones?

Imagine if we all were on teh same time zone? Who would be here to keep me company in the middle of the night when I have insomnia?

Nope.

I love time zones ;)

Oh yes,

I think we would all agree that it is better to have "real life type of fucking" versus fucking typing!

;)

"Regular" relationships: Yeah, it can get frustrating trying to talk to someone in a time zone far, far, away. PMs and email work though.

"Romantic" relationship: I don't think I'd get into one where there was no chance of ever being together in the same time zone in real life. What would be the point? (That was rhetorical and applies to me, only.)

I don't "blurt." I assume you're talking about the blurty things people seem to keep up- the personal diary kind of thing? I've read a few links to them when asked to, but that's it. I'm not interested enough in anyone's personal life to want to spend time reading their diary. I prefer the gb where I can read their thoughts on specific topics (threads.)

Re: How ya doin', handsome?

I'm getting in to trouble. But I guess you really don't need to ask to know that.

Is the weather still undesirable?

Oh, and um.... relationships are relationships. Time zones suck, but I've dealt with worse.

edited for straying off of thread topic

Hi, G:)

I really was thinking about just plain ol' friendship here. I have a few friends that it takes a lot of scheduling to find time to talk to each other. I can't always call or be there for certain people due to my time constraints. I feel as if I'm not as good a friend as I could be with some of these interferences I spoke of in the start of the thread.

[/B]

(It applies, here as well, Cheyenne.)

What is the difference between an online relationship and one that is a Long Distance Relationship in which the two have never met?

I am thinking an online relationship is intended only to remain on line, for whatever reason the two people desire it.

In both situations, time zones and distance can be difficult. Then, real life circumstances have a way of changing, evolving, moving you closer, moving your futher apart. If I were ot blurt, that would be all! :)

Weather is better. Snow is melting and now we have to deal with flooding. Have I convinced you to move to Ohio yet?:D

I hope the trouble you're getting into is worth it...or at the very least fun.

It all depends what you mean and how you define friendship.

Apart from my family - I can say that I probably only have about 5 or 6 real friend - I mean friends that I could call upon at any time of day

I have loads of other friends who I see now and again you know every few months etc - we dont feel the need to be in constant contact

and then you have the Xmas card list - you send a card every year - maybe the odd email - but might only meet up once in a blue moon .

It is god to keep in touch with people abroad though - that means you always have somewhere to stay when on hols !!

I should have known you'd see a bright spot in that. I bet you wake up every morning singing, don't ya?:D

Hell no!

This morning I woke up to my littlest child saying "Mommy! My hamster wants a kiss!"

Next thing you know, that thing, that rodent, ran across my face!

;)

Gotta love kids, but some days pets are the pits !

Now, waking up to JL would make me sing.

Did you ever see the movie, Young Frankenstien with Madeline Conn.

*giggles*
