Been around some, but time to catch up.

I'm still going thru my SG-1 complete collection. I thought I had seen every episode, but I'm finding unseen gems there.

I found dvd's of The Day The Earth Stood Still (original) and Rocky Horror Picture Show for $5 each at Costco last weekend, and I'm planning on watching both, again, this weekend.

Finally, I've got to go to the movies. There are too many new ones out there to miss!

Any verdicts on Transformers 2? It seems a bit TOO quiet around here....

So I just checked the guest list for this year's Dragon Con....

If you're a Stargate Fan (and YOU know who you are)... Ben Browder, Claudia Black AND Michael Shanks will be there from SG-1. Joe Flannigan and the guys that play Ronan and Dr. Beckett will be there from Atlantis.

BSG Fans... Edward James Olmos will be back (met him last year and he's really cool) and Mary McDonnell will be there.

If you're ANY Star Trek fan... a BUNCH of Voyager folks will be there - including Kate Mulgrew. BUT.... it DOES get even better. Patrick Stewart will be there AND wait for it.... wait for it.... Leonard Nimoy will be there!

Just thought I would give a run down if anyone has free time Labor Day weekend and wants to head to ATL!

Nah. I see Ben and Claudia as being more for Farscape fans. But that's just me, and me happens to be a Farscape fan.

Also, as usual, and this isn't Geek related but, Cruxshadows will be playing there again. This time on their Quicksilver Tour. What? I'm also a big CXS fan. Their lead singer is just awesome and super friendly, and enjoys some geeky things himself, like video games.

Reading the latest paperback in the Dresden series, and it's as good as ever!

I loved that scene as well. lol

No problem. CXS plays every year. They've had their past 3 consecutive singles debut on the Billboard Charts within the top 10. They are classified as "Darkwave" but definitely check them out. I realize they aren't for everyone, but just meeting them was a pleasure for me.

lol, my poor Mac laptop probably wasnt made for gaming (i usually design on it) but darn its too much fun killing demons while in the coffee house and jumping up in victory.

Never played 2 just 1. Kinda cool to play a game like that now on today's computers.
