Let Your Geek Flag Fly!

What is it with this thread and Ironman!?!? haha

Yeah, I started listening to them because a lot of their stuff is produced by Butch Walker, who is a local music artist/producer. LOVE him! They have been here quite a few time. I even caught some of them at a Sugarcult show and hung out and talked to them. Kind of nice fellows for a bunch of drinking strip club regulars! :D

Bope Ironman does the trick for ya.

Not to answer this again but you know us geeks LOVE when a comic movie gets it right. Iron Man fits the bill 110%. By the way I just saw where they found Captain America in the new Hulk movie.

I know I am comitting a geek sin, but I still haven't seen the Hulk yet... I know I knwo. Start throwing things now!

I know I am glad that there are now GOOD comic book movies. I remember the days when they were TERRIBLE!

Hope everyone has a great day. :D

Now I have to watch Ironman again to see that shield! Of course thare is a naked chest a few times, hmmmm where's the remote?

Geeks= <3. That's about the only thing I can say.

I miss getting to go to the RenFest here, but the amount of time I have available decreases every year.

At least I have my RPG group on weekends. Perhaps I could convince them that we should all go to a Con together...hmmm...

I am guilty also. I never made it to see that Hulk. I will just buy it when it comes out. Did you like the first one, I did I know a lot of people did not.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Would you like some company while you watch. I can even sit shirtless of course my chest is no where near as nice as Robert Downey's.

Hey kiss... it seems that your geek flag is moving a little farther up that pole with every day... Hopefully you found that remote! :D

Hi Ghostjae! Nice of you to stop in for a while. Free time is such a premium, but shouldn't interfere with fun!

What RPG stuff do you do? You should all come down (or up or over or whatever) to Dragon Con next year. ALl of the geeks from lit can have a huge old party!

Please come back any time! :D

Hi Craig! I'll probably just end up buying it when it comes out, too. I did see the first one and I hate to admit it, but I have watched parts of it a few time. Always need SOMETHING on in the background. I think Ang Lee is a genius, but The Hulk isn't something to apply Oscar winning style too!

It is hard not to love Jennifer Connelly...

I will too. The worst thing about the first one was the fight at the end there really was not one. Buying the new Indiana Jones tommorrow.

The extras are fun too. :) There's one about the guys who developed the HUD graphics. It's hysterical because two of the guys are SERIOUS geeks and have that look of 'THIS IS THE BEST FUCKING JOB IN THE WORLD AND WE GOT PAID FOR IT!' :D:cattail::cool:

LOL, that reminds me of the designer guys from the Transformers DVD!

happy tuesday my fellow geeks!!

i too have yet to see the Hulk. though i think ed norton is an awesome actor and will make an awesome Dr. Banner. my brother went to see it and said it was just as good as iron man.

as for ang lee's disasterpiece...hated it. there were so many things wrong with that movie. its just not cool to take a beloved character and totally make up a new continuity for him. just couldnt get past it.

Where's Cap then? Is it in this additional footage that means I've got to buy the 2 disc version in HMV? Cack!

Typical...

So, here's a geeky question for you all:

What's your preference of screwdriver? Sonic or Laser??

Brouhahahahaha!

I'll go back to Cybertron now...LOL :)

Sonic. And Starscream (cartoon version) was the best ever!

He was, wasn't he! RIP Chris Latta.

I did love Simon Furman's interpretation of him too...

And I'd have to go for Laser...can't wait for John Simms' return as The Master in the Easter special next year! And David Morrisey portraying "The Next Doctor" in Return of the Cybermen at Xmas!!!

Disasterpiece... I LOVE it! I can't believe I haven't heard that before. It applies to sooo many things.

Um, I would vote for sonic screwdriver...
