heh, don't ruin it for me, just starting book one myself
The only thing I will say is that the books are no reflection of the TV series on SciFi. They stand on their own, even though they are dark.

It does make total sense that an extremely intelligent woman would find a way of thinking a lust-worthy attribute. I know exactly what you are talking about. Connecting on an intellectual level can be sooo sexy! Luckily geeky mind lust can be a very good thing. As for what to do about it... hmmm... assuming both parties are of the geeky variety (like the mind lust) they could probably find a solution if they put their minds together. Maybe a slide rule would help...

Now I am interested in reading The Dresden Files. I did like the premise of the Sci-Fi series even though you mentioned it's not the same. I'm sure darker would be better!

I've been a long time geek, and I'm glad to see a place to let the flags fly free!
I liked the series too. A friend turned me on to them, and I've cursed him several times for getting me hooked. Morgan is still a Warden, and he still doesn't like Harry, and there are Vampires, ghouls, Faeries, and real Bad Guys.
(I don't think I told too much, did I?)

I buy seasons on DVD - don't have the patience to wait week after week and set my watch by a network listing. Currently on the first disc of season 8 of CSI. Finished up season 3 of Criminal Minds last week.
