To answer your question, I don't think it has anything to do with being with the *wrong* man. In fact I think that question is usually viewed hostilely by many lesbians.

Hell, we're men.

By definition, we're all wrong

Just ask my wife!

Still not quite right - try "Lesbians".

I am sure the answer to your question is probably a mixutre of reasons; some Lesbians probably have always felt an exclusive attraction to other women since they were children - some maybe developed it. There may be some genetic reasons for both, and there are probably "nurturing"/environmental reasons for both too. We are pretty complex creatures and you would probably have to ask on a case by case basis.

Ladies, help him out here - he is trying to ask a valid interesting question and making an effort to learn. Much better than previous posts okay?

I wouldn't mind hearing your views on the subject if you are willing to share - or at least point him to a previous thread if this has been covered before.

Thanks.

I'm sorry HKBJ.

I've been a bad Bob. I'll behave myself. You go spell the word any ol' way you want to.

Ces derniers mois nous avons été plongées dans un incessant bouillonnement politique et culturel concernant les gais et lesbiennes...

Why are all non-lesbians answering for them? And why are they all so quiet?

I would have suggested the "run as fast as you can" response, but it is interesting that no one has flamed him yet.

Because it is a stereotype and it infers that they "settled" on something inferior. However, I wouldn't be surprised if some lesbian somewhere said they were at least in part influenced by their experiences with men - good or bad. But then, what do I know - I am not a lesbian.
