This is a question for Doms and subs alike. It has probably been posted a million times but I'm pretty curious about this. What do you find helps you if you are in a long distance relationship and its that dreadful time when the two of you part? I guess I'm just looking for things that help you relax, maybe help ease the pain a little bit. I know everyone is different but I thought I'd ask because this just isnt easy :). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you (rose)

i try to be honest about things without being hurtful. Discussion at the beginning of a relationship has helped me in the past. As i am older :) i make the stipulation that if the relationship ends that we try to remain friends. i'm very lucky in that i have a supportive family (even if sometimes they dn't know why they're supporting me!) and i know that i can count on numerous friends to let me grieve long enough then roust me from my apathy. They make me face life again. i tend to be indulgent of myself....lots of reading......long walks......traveling. Taking the time to work through my grief and giving myself permission to grieve without becoming mired in it.
Anyway i hope this helps!!
