Whistle exhausts don't rattle my cup rack and picture frames from 100 yds away with the bass beat that is shaking the car apart. They don't rattle the double-glazed windows when the car drives past the aprtment a mere 10 yards away.

Too true. I live in a geographical area where Confederate battle flags and truck testicles are much more common than berserk subwoofers, so the impact on my life is less than it is on yours.

I am sure you noticed that no one, thus far, has addressed the content of the video...imagine that?

One of my statements was that without oil, the Arabs would still be selling Dates (a fruit) and Camel Hair coats. Even the oil was discovered and exploited by the British and AMERICANS, before the Arabs Nationalized the corporations. That Islam has contributed nothing to society in centuries, needs to be emphasized to bring into clear focus that abject failure of a culture.

That the Bedbugs in the UN would leave of their own accord because of the company they kept...made me smile...I didn't think of that one!

Amazing how no one feel comfortable addressing the topic of this thread. If you watched the link I posted, or read the subject title, you'd know we were talking about serious things like women being murdered and little girls being married to perverts to slavery and religious persecution and war crimes. All being committed by Muslims.

Now in today's PC society I feel like it takes some balls to come out and say that. Well, things the pinkos are more comfortable talking about like loud radios and truck testicles. So okay, you can take the thread wherever you want to go with it.. what is the ultimate evil?

I thought I'd get some invective or criticism, from all sides you know, saying I was being .. I don't know, a bigot or something. I have said many of the things that appear on the video, but so many people here accuse me of being anti-Islam that I have almost given up on the thing. One thing they insist on is that all the evils being pointed out are the result of culture, rather than religion. This may be so, but that culture only exists in nations that are run by Muslims.

The main point of the video is that certain nations with truly vile records of civil rights are being named to the UN commission on civil rights, especially those who are supposed to be watching out for the welfare of women. To me, this is asinine, comparable to giving foxes the job of guarding the hen house.

Perhaps you can show me the errors of my ways. If anybody can point out a nation, besides those run by Muslims, where a woman is beaten and/or imprisoned for speaking to a man who is not a family member, I shall stand corrected. I am referring to this happening during the 21st Century. I really don't expect anybody to show any examples, though.

Important topic? Of course it is. And many of the people here are active on political forums elsewhere. Many of the people here are military. Many of the people here give time and money and energy to fighting human rights issues, in the United States and elsewhere.

I'm well aware there are repressive regimes that are not Muslim. However, this thread is about nations that are particularly repressive toward women. I used the example of beating or imprisoning a woman who speaks to a man who is not a family member. Are there any other places in the world now where this or similar actions are done besides nations ruled by Muslims?
