Just once it would be so nice to see you post a topic without cut and pasting of articles.

Every post you make has a news story title in it and the body of the story.

Do you have any original thoughts of your own or are you so one dimensional and lacking in intelligence and humor that you have to do this?

Discuss.

Please don't discourage her from tearing ideas from USA Today...otherwise it's 1st Amendment Redux, Parts 1-24, every frickin day...

So she finds articles that interest her, and then shares them... she's not the only one to do that.

n/a

Hanns and Lavender have something in common.

They should date.

Good point, I apologize. The 1st Amendment according to Lavvy is even more boring, if that's possible, than her CnP masterpieces.

I stand corrected.

Actually, she's a source of much amusement.

I love watching those who pretend to be so well informed resorting to CnP tactics instead of picking a topic and starting a discussion.

One thing is for sure, she'll be an actuarial lawyer or civil lawyer, she certainly doesn't have what it takes to do much else.

She really is a nice person. She just doesn't let down her guard so easily.

Even with unregistered gone, there's always that one last desperate soul clinging to that added layer of anonymity that such a nickname provides. "Ooh, I'm gonna tell them off! And my real identity is protected! Muhahaha!!!"

Seriously, get a life. Move on to stuff you like instead of stuff you don't. So lavender's not your cup of tea. Big whoop.

Ram, I couldn't agree more.

That being said... is it any wonder with some of the people on here?

As much as she cares about Feminism & Civil Rights, her real love appears to be Mmmoney, as she hopes to be a corporate finance lawyer in a big firm as I recall from recent posts about Ramen noodles and such.

Drafting security instruments and minutes will at least keep her out of court....well except as a defendant of course.

:)

LOL. They have requirements for lawyers that appear in court don't they?

You get my drift.

She's the worst kind of feminist - a man hating/bashing know nothing, yap about everything, female.

She gives real feminists a bad name.

Yes, I agree. Let's be positive!

I'm positive Lav has mentioned how much she's into money money money several times.

Is she keeping up with her other courses?

She'll not live on Turtle Creek by representing the disadvantaged, you know...and I can't see her values letting her marry for money.

Hmmmm...not sure on that one. I defer.

Pity they don't have qualifications for trolls - like a brain!

Yes. 1-4 are valuable no matter how you earn your keep.

All law students yap like that until they learn to pee on the paper.

Is Harpy Feminism making a resurgence?

Are you being backwards as part of your charming sarcasm or do you really and honestly believe this?

Some of them not only need to learn to pee on the paper but they need to be smacked on the nose with it from time to time.

Neither...it's just what she's said here.

She hates being a poor student (her thread), would never hang her own shingle because she can make more money in a big firm (to Ish in a thread) and wants to do corp stuff because that's where the money is (to me ).

I believe her interest in the rights of the "little guy" will end the day she buys her first black briefcase on the firm amex.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

She's a good kid.

One day she'll probably be able to buy and sell all our sorry asses!

Okay, keeping in mind that I can't possibly keep up with all of the conversations that go on between you two lovebirds, I'll tackle these as well as I can.

Regarding hating being a (financially) poor student, who doesn't? I loved college and would have gotten another degree or two, but it's tough to live with a negative cash flow.

I've seen her debate publically whether she should stick to her guns or sell out and go to work for a big firm. Obviously, there is more money in working for a big firm. She has student loans to pay off. It's not an easy decision.
