I need opinions from Ladies here for a wager with a fair damsel.
Here it is....
I meet a Lady on Literotica,over the course of months,we get friendly.
Eventually I decide to travel to the States to see her.Whilst she is at work I go to her house,introduce myself to her 22 year old son.
Ask if he minds were I to see/take his mother out.supposing he has no objections.
I then telephone said Lady ask her to meet me for dinner,asking her to take her best friend as a chaperone(some crazy bastards about).
Pull up to the house in a horse drawn carriage,two bouquets two dozen red roses for the lady,mixed bouquet for her best friend.
Ok the meal out for three.Try and act the perfect gentleman.

1)How impressed is the Lady in question?

2)How impressed is her best friend?

3)Is that the most romantic thing ever heard of?

can some ladies help me in this dilemma please,to me a mere man it sounds the absolute pinnacle.

I would be overwhelmed - and not in a good way. Impressed? Nope. Too overboard, too flashy, too over-the-top, too fake. Show up at the place where I work with a single rose, and then I'll be impressed.

If I were to put myself in the position of the best friend, I'd probably be laughing and telling her to go for it. Of course, I wouldn't have to deal with the guy, she would, so what the hell would I care?

No, it is not the most romantic thing I've ever heard of. But it does sound like a man who is trying overly hard to impress. And failing miserably.

And if the "gentleman" in question is not available? His wife/gf/SO would get a message from me letting her know what she is missing out on. Yeah, I'm old fashioned that way.
