Andy Beshear: Respects law, uses office for betterment of public.

The Other Guy: Subverts Grand Jury process, uses office for personal and political vendettas.

Hey, at least Beshear is ahead in the polls at the moment. Which honestly really surprises me.

choices choices

The night...that's right...the fucking night of the tornado that took out Mayfield...he was bringing in help from other counties...and in the morning...he was there. Front line. No bullshit. No excuses.

He has brought in several companies to build their new plants. These ain't high paying jobs...but for Kentucky they are high paying. The latest is the Ford plant to build batteries. 7000 total jobs in one county. This is how a Democrat wins in a Republican state. You don't see him playing bullshit games that the Democratic Party plays elsewhere.

If McConnell has to give up his seat in the Senate, Beshear is required by Kentucky law to appoint a Republican to replace him. Talk about partisan bullshit games.

It is in their Constitution...created by Republicans

It's as it should be. A temporary fill to complete a term should be the same party as the elected office holder that had to vacate for whatever reason.

So we need merit-based college admissions, but partisanship is OK for the US Senate.

No, we need consistency.

The people elect a member from one party. If the office becomes vacant, the Executive should not be able to change party for the temporary fill-in. Let the voters decide if they want to do that at the next election.

For filling a partial term, I propose a new solution: only previous candidates for that position are eligible for appointment. With that rule in effect, primaries would have more choices, because both parties would always need backups.

The people elected the Governor to make those decisions, according to the state’s constitution.

Kentucky's current constitution was adapted in the 1890s. As in most of the South, there was really no need to address partisanship as it was very much a one-party state in those days. Whether we agree with the law or not, I see no reason to think it fails to pass constitutional muster.

Better solution is to have the people decide and have a special election, with the proviso that the shortened time served not be counted if there are term limits.

Beshear wins reelection. Let the delusional, retarded MAGA excuses and/or conspiracy theories begin.

The piece of shit who wanted to tax one of the poorest states in the nation to death in order to give every black person in the state a free college education somehow got enough self hating retards to vote for him to be re-elected.

No conspiracy required. America is dead. Bring the gasoline and burn the rest of it to ashes while the left is still living in it.
Dial it down, we know you don’t approve of people of colour. And once again you’re advocating using violence.

You never disappoint...

This will be an interesting race to follow on Tuesday. Cameron has come from behind and caught up with Beshar in the latest poll.

Even the propaganda entertainment network called it too.

52.5 to 47.4…

So the poll was correct on one 47…

Those Fishback boys really got some good headway with 68 votes. 0.005%. Sure doesn’t seem like the 2%. Maybe the poll oversampled the Fishback family?

So out of the four values(47, 47, 4, 2), 1 out of 4. But in MLB, that could be a 5 or 6 hole hitter if they have some pop in their bat. All about context.

So, you get to have something to feel good about- right?

The other KY races went like 60/40 for ‘pubs-but the Cheeto didn’t put his finger on the scale for those races did he? Just the top of the ticket.

The Cheeto is worth -12; seems like he’s losing more Bigly! (‘Pubs are soooooo tired of the winning) And I know, you have switched over to the little book burning Nazi with the big ears. The Cheeto as a loser isn’t news to you, but you didn’t consider that when you gleefully published the poll?
