ok, this is fascinating. I was just going on last night about the fact that we allow ourselves to be SO ignorant about sex in general and about female sex in particular. I don't think I've ever met anyone that didn't suffer from some degree of willful ignorance about sex... because all we're taught in school is about reproduction and abstinence, but there is SO much we NEED to know about how sex actually WORKS. we wind up learning it from porn, which is like learning to fly a plane by playing sega.

The specific example I used was the fact that most people are completely unfamiliar with with what the clitoris actually IS. it's a major organ in the female body, and we know literally nothing about it. We treat a woman's vagina like it's some sort of mystical puzzle box. The very idea that sex is actually better for EVERYONE when the woman's needs are being met (better lubrication, more responsive and articulate contact) doesn't even seem to occur to guys until they're in their late twenties, and even then they seem to just memorize five moves and use them at random. "I always lick her pussy first..." he says in response. Well, what if that's not what SHE wants? don't ever *always* do ANYTHING! Listen to her, motherfucker!

I'm just fascinated by the idea of what sex might actually be like if we were all taught how to do it, and weren't just fumbling around like a bunch of retarded chimps trying to crack open the same coconut.

In all seriousness, i've done nude beaches, and they're fun... but I actually did find a pretty decent version of this suit, and the fun part is wearing it to american beaches or pools and watching the place literally freak out. There's an actual hush that hits everyone, while everyone is staring or trying not to stare and judging... it makes me feel like a sex goddess.

Very well said.. I agree entirely, that when the woman's needs are met sex is better for everyone.. And I agree that it takes a while for men to learn this, I think I was probably mid to late twenties..

The interesting thing is, is that if men listen to themselves intuitively, we know this.. Education would serve as a very necessary reminder though and I think very important in our culture..

I just think we need to get rid of all the stigma we have for TALKING about sex. imagine if a college kids understood that the hymen isn't a barrier you have to punch through, but just a ring of fleshy tissue, and that there's literally no reason a woman has to bleed the first time she has sex if you just allow her to get sufficiently aroused and treat her properly? If basic human empathy was allowed to kick in and they'd actually make sure that BOTH partners enjoyed their first experience? Just think about what sex COULD be?

There was a recent study done on the effect of teenage school children in the UK, the females thought that shaving their pubic hair and having regular anal sex was entirely normal and that all women desired it, and the males thought that to give a lady sexual pleasure it involved having her suck him off and coming all over her face..

I don't think this is a normal response from a teenager and I blame porn..

Porn has its place, but maybe if we introduced it much later in life as an adult, it would be recognised as fantasy or at least not real.. Introducing the kind of porn that educates men and women on how to pleasure each other in a sensual and respectful manner in the early ages might be another option..

I think you'd get the same result if you just taught people about sex. Kids are smart, they understand that just because you can survive jumping out of a third story window in a movie, that doesn't mean you can in real life.

The problem is that kids see what goes on in porn and LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE. If we introduced even a BASIC education about how sex actually functions, they'd be able to at least engage the part of their brain that starts to question things. The rest would very likely take care of itself.
