Steel
29
Real Name: Unknown
Super strength, hardened skin, metallic skeleton.

I will be basing the character off the Steel from the Detroit League, or atleast the image of him, as opposed to the Henry Iron Steel from the superman comics that came later.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/c3/Citizen_steel.jpg/250px-Citizen_steel.jpg

I do not plan to make him a Heywood family member however, merely someone else taking on the mantle, how he got his powers, I plan to take the path of science experiments done on himself, the strength was a side effect.. Very clece I know but Im still working my idea's out..

Martian Manhunter II

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/3/36/MartianManhunterCv2.png
Alter Ego: J’onn J’onzz Junior/ JJ Jones
Age: 24
Species: Green Martian
Powers: Superhuman Strength, Stamina and Durability, Flight, Martian Vision, Shape-shifting, Telepathy, Basic Regeneration.
(Also has Invisibility and Intangibility but he can’t control them yet.)
History: Having grown tired of humanity the original Martian Manhunter exiled himself back to Mars where he Asexually reproduced a child whom he could train. He named the child after himself, adding Junior as homage to the planet he had grown to love.

Growing up JJ (which even His father called him) learnt to control his powers though there are several he has not yet mastered the use of his powers.

Eventually JJ decided to leave his father, and visit earth where he became a prominent hero known as the second Martian Manhunter and also as an Electronics expert known as JJ Jones.

LMAO! I just found this thread Night.

Name: Jayne West
Call Sign: The Flash
Age: 21
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 140 pounds
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Blonde
Powers: Access to the Speed Force.
Skills: Acrobatics, Brawling, Computer sciences, and Dancing.
Background: Jayne was born with access to the Speed Force. She is the first of the West family to be born this way and as such she has the most control of it. She'd been a handful to raise making the family rely on the other speedsters of the Flash legacy. She went through her youth in a blur, almost literally. She knew from her teen years that she would be the next Flash. She had served as Kid Flash in her generations version of the Teen Titans. When she graduated High school she accepted a scholarship at UCLA. During that time she was out of action in the heroics. Instead she tried to live a normal life as an attractive young girl needing to cut loose and enjoy life. She began what would humiliate her family if they ever knew. She became an "exotic dancer" as a way to support herself. After she graduated college she gave up the dance floor and took the costume back up.

She currently supports herself through a third identity. Lyla Monroe. The most downloaded and viewed brunette "babe" on the internet. She uses access to the speedforce to vibrate her face to look different than she really does.

Batman, the Dark Knight of Gotham

Jason Drake (Son of Tim Drake)
Age: 25
Height: 6’ 0”
Weight: 175 lbs.
Hair: Black
Eyes: Steel Blue

Jason Drake is the son of Tim Drake, the former Robin. Following his mother’s death, he spent much of his childhood searching for his father. All he had to go one was the fact that his mother met him during a yearlong hiatus from Gotham City and a faded photograph. Several years later, he managed to track down Tim Drake, who took him under his wing as the son he never knew he had. It wasn’t until he was nearly 18 that he learned of his father’s secret identity. When he confronted him, his father invited him to train with, and eventually replace, the aging sidekick. Bruce Wayne personally offered to aid in the training and was so impressed by Jason’s dedication and drive that he gave Jason the chance to bring the Dark Knight back to Gotham.

Jason is well-versed in engineering and chemistry and over the years has been trained to near Olympic-level proficiency in martial arts and gymnastics. Outside of the suit, Jason is a laid-back individual who enjoys the night life and club scene around Gotham. He is not privy to Wayne’s private fortune, but was offered a job working in the research and development wing of Wayne Enterprises’ Aerospace Division. Most people surrounding him believe he works closely with Bruce Wayne and his absences are errands and personal projects for Mr. Wayne.

The batsuit has evolved greatly since the original rubber and latex suit work by Bruce Wayne when he first began his crime fighting career. While it does retain the traditional black look and pointed ears of the original, the state-of-the-art suit covers the entire body of the wearer and includes a full-face helmet. The utility belt remains, complete with several batarangs, flash-bang and smoke grenades, zip-tie handcuffs, and tracers. The belt has been integrated into the suit so it cannot be removed. The standard cape has been replaced with retractable glider-like projections housed in the back. The suit’s material is very durable and able to withstand massive concussive forces, small caliber weapons fire, mild electric shocks, fire, and provides some protection from radiation. While durable, it offers very little padding to cushion blows during combat.

The suit enhances Jason’s strength nearly tenfold and features retractable blades on the forearms that double as grappling hooks. The suit’s boots have built-in electromagnets for climbing and boosters that allow for periods of short flight. The helmet has several optical modes, including night vision and a digital binocular mode, and comes with a built-in rebreather and air filter for underwater or toxic environments. The gloves feature vibration-sensitive microphones that allow for eavesdropping through solid materials like glass, and retractable claws for climbing and close combat.

Welcome Batman III

Lol, did you know that as you are Tim Drakes son, you are the Grandchild of Bruce Wayne?

this is because bruce adopted Tim after Tim's father died in identity crisis and became Tim's father, thus making him Jason's grandfather.

More than that Tim actually has some of Bruce's DNA inside him, thanks to a certain Amanda Waller

Didn't know that, but it goes great with my background.

I can see Wayne stepping aside for his own grandson.

Im thinking that my version of Steel is actually an artificial intelegence, problem is he doesnt actually know that, they used DNA from Heywood to build him.

that sound slike agreat idea i can't wait to explore the fact....one Q tho, would JJ be able to detect the lack of brainwaves from Steel?

though i guess he could think that the reson he's not getting any readings is cos of the steel skin.

NEWAY!!!

we need more chars...perhaps another girl.

Good point, perhaps if he was a cyborg then, he does have a working brain, and enough vital organs to sustain it but he's mostly robotic

can i post two people? Ill post a charecter that i make to fit me, and a girl to even out the team. how's that sound nite? :cathappy:

I'm interested in the thread and all; I'm just worried that my knowledge about the superheros will pale in comparison to those that have read the comics. You see, I'm an avid watcher of the TV shows, but I've never read a single comic.

I'll gladly come up with a character though, one that I hope won't shame me.

Imn wouldnt worry too much Babyblue, I havent read a whole heap of DC myself just things here and there, Im sure you'll be fantastic
