what everyone has planned for Christmas, going out of town, staying home, or somewhere in between?

We are headed to Boston this weekend for a wedding so no travel plans for us. How about it? What are y'all doing?

Mother has her side up for the wedding this year and dad and I are fighting over who gets to be the furthest away....

We are very lucky that we live 30 mins away from either set of parents so we will get to see everyone. So I suppose my answer is traveling....just not very far.

Now that's funny!

Not really that funny... his side we would love to see but mum's side... oh HELL NO

Well it is funny in one way but mum doesn't see it that way of course

Staying home, if the kids show up they show up, if they don't I understand that having to share the holiday with numerous relatives gets very tiring and makes the holiday less appealing.

...staying home :)

Christmas at my house is a huge event. It is decorated to the hilt and the whole family comes to town. I have never gone out of town for Christmas, but definitely have no complaints!

Would love to be able to say... I am jetting over to Chef's to rescue him. Deep sigh...
Nope, the usual. Family, family.. and more family. Not too bad though they have a tendancy of treating me like I am 9. I am the only one without kids. but thats cool too. I play with the kids and have fun while they whine about adulthood. The hard part will be not being able to have those I love best with me.

Going over to my little sisters apartment. Eat, drink receive and give presents. And then go home again.

Well now that puts a different perspective on things. I just pictured myself alone about 15 years from now wondering if my son will drop in on his Momma for Christmas.. *sniff*

Huh. Alone and lonely at Christmas with nothing around me but my 20 cats for company. hehe.. I'll end up being that weird catlady won't I? Won't I? *sobs*

Well my rating went down to a 2 on the spark-o-meter.
MerryFuckingChristmas

Christmas Eve at he in-laws like we do every year and Christmas day at my sisters house, then we get to come home and enjoy the holiday.

If everything goes as planned, I'll be travelling for the next month. I'll be away from Lit for a while...*sigh*...no computer access. At least I'll get to spend time with family and friends. It's going to be rough, though. Withdrawl will be horrible...

Lunch were going to my Sisters place, just so I can pinch the cheeks of my gorgeous Nephew and eat her food (which I do believe my Mother is buying anyway LOL).

Dinner we're having a good old fashioned Aussie BBQ, we're having Mum's bestest friend down who at this current time is going through not only Chemotherapy, but Radiotherapy too, so it will be nice to spread some Christmas joy.

I wish you all my best wishes over this time, and to the ones that may not have anyone ... I am thinking of you.

Take Care please :)

Just hanging out at the house.... nutin' special... after all I can't really affors christmas...
