I figured that but was wondering more about the meat behind the issues.

I was involved in something like this once. A group of my old gaming buddies started to get suspicious of a couple of are some what regular members after they noticed some paterns. They went through a whole host of IP traces and just tons of read posts till they figured out that two of our most prevelant members were actualy false identies of a third person.

They thought this person had other identies too but could not get enough evidence to proof it.

Good Morning....

Well I can't say that this topic does not intrigue me. I think for weeks now I had been wondering about the security of this place. Not so much the internal structure but several posters or perhaps one that posts as many.

There has been a long line of inncidences. I also feel that several people that have been targeted would have a better idea of who they corresponded with and if they got together they might be able to figure out who it is. That is unless the person used a different persona with gaining the other's information. At the same time most of us have opened ourselves up within this forum sharing ideas, thoughts or whatever. This would mean that the person did countless hours of searching. Again another sad move that they have nothing better to do than to look for information they feel could harm.

So basically how I see this is that a persona gains another trust. Perhaps encourages the other to open up with personal details, phone, cyber, web, exchange of pictures, or what not. Then they sit on it for a bit before their ego explodes and they allow the fall guy to use said information. There have been too many posts to boast so many of the said things they have already done. I am questioning who really is the fall guy now for one is more obvious than the other.

Another theory is that a person enters here and stirs things up. After a while she/he gains the trust of others from the board which in turn forms some sort of alliance. Each feeling that they are gaining something even if it is attention.

This board I feel is too huge to destroy. Again so many facets here. Individuals will come and go. I know I have taken breaks and returned given situations in my life. Kind of like I can take it or leave the boards but enjoy catching up with others. Seems like more will be on line now that winter is here and not much outdoors stuff to do. Again if it was possible to chase people away and destroy this board what really is in it for the consipirotors? I mean after a while they will be bored with their own topics of conversation. Not many to turn against or to toy with. Until they start with each other. After the celebration that they accomplished what they set out then what?

There has definitely been a pattern. After every time a said person felt he chased a person away he gloated so much within the boards about it only shortly after to choose a new "victim". A new person he/she feels can't handle the abuse or what not. Usually the people chose seem to be the ones that have been open, caring and have shared themselves with us. To me it is more of an annoyance than to be chased away. In hidnsite these said people chased away are still here. I know I can take the general boards or leave it. Nothing to loose but a forum that I do enjoy writing in. I am sure there are plenty of others out there but again I am not one to be pushed away unless it is on my terms. Also I notice I am more on the boards cause I am curious as to how this will unravel. So this is keeping me coming back. Again the mystery behind it that I want to see how it is solved. Kind of a catch 22.

I have noticed that I have been getting more spam mail in one of my email addys than I had since I started here. I find that curious in itself also besides names I never heard of pming me. Too bad I just delete the stuff. Not worth my time in the case that the other might be part of this conspiracy. Call it paronoia but I call it being cautious.

Again thank you Ishmael for starting the wheels to turn. I think a lot of people have had similiar ideas about this all and it is good to have it out in the open to discuss.

involved with this drama? I have to admit it is like a soap opera and you keep it entertaining as to the solving of the mystery. That is it just to solve the puzzle now and not necessarily your persona. There is irony that you call others drama people when you should be elected drama puppet as the one this year with all you tried to stir about. So do you ever go back to the old forum to simply chat with others or do they hate you so that you do not want to show your face. Hmm if I recall it was mentioned by you that it got so boring cause nobody was about. What fame are you really getting baby? It just sounds like disdain to me and it is a shame for you hold so many wonderful talents you can utilize in this community if you choose to. It does not sound like they are talking about you but your ego is talking about yourself.

Well I am off from work today with the flu so if you have the balls I'll call you with stuffed up nose and all. Realize that others wanted to include you in this forum. I have noticed that you are changing your tone on where you are located in some of the later posts. Your patriotism about America is showing through. It was directed at Ish's first post, the only thing I read. I always feel like I get in on a dead conversation if I read the whole thread first. then I go back to see where the conversation ACTUALLY went. Some people call it hijacking. Ish calls it saying hello when he steals my threads!

who is this female persona. It is funny I can see some of them scurrying about now trying to adjust some of the old names they might of set up or what not. That is if they thought of that ahead of time. I wonder if names should start to be named. Kind of feel like the Salem Witch Hunt, but then again isn't that what they are doing to some of the people in this community?

I also remember another boasting when ? breast picture was posted. He/She tried to blame it on Ginny. He/She was very animated in several post to get that bit of information out. The pieces are all in front of us. It is just putting them together.
