I used to think it was dumb, but after watching a few episodes with a friend of mine at work I kind of got hooked. Hardly ever have time to watch it though. I am just not around at the right times.

but some i don't like
Vision of Esciflone... that has some wicked art... but the show fucking sucks ass. so yes hateing some is okay to still be a fan

I do like DBZ although it wasn't really my choice to start watching it.
Also, Titan AE rocked my world.
I'm more into the wacky cartoons like Daxters Lab., The Angry Beavers.

Besides, it goes past being a "teen thing". Although, I do imagine it's more appealing to the younger audiences for the most part. Do know a few Lit members that are into Anime who are way past their teen years. Not that I'll name names or anything.

I"m a big cartoon buff, and only have recently gotten into watching Anime. I mostly enjoy Dragonball Z (though I wish they'd actually do something instead of standing around grimacing at each other!), Star Blazers, and the Macross Saga.

I more enjoy the Anime movies: Macross II, Ninja Scroll (and I really want my own copy of that), Ghost in the Machine, and one other I rely enjoyed.

Unfortunately, I can't recall the title of that one other. There was a big wolf thing, and a nature spirit that had maggots all over it, and an Elk Spirit that nearly killed everyone until the heroes returned it's head. I've been nuts trying to recall what it was called, and it's been a complete blank for me all week.

robotech is what converted me way back when i was like 7. i was into tom and jerry and road runner till then. after i saw robotech i wanted to fly in my very on veritech fighter....the day our military can come up with those is the day i join the military.

i am utterly fucking fascinated by robotech and it being the first space drama i ever watched. irresponsible captain tylor is a fucking awesome dramedy (comedy/drama)

3. It was like a soap opera.

I've seen I and II a lot (reruns on Toon a couple of years ago) but they never showed III (New Generation). Ebay lists the laserdiscs occassionally for Macross and Southern Cross but I don't think they were ever made for New Gen. I think I heard somewhere that all three are available on DVD, but I don't have a player. I suppose if I sold all my laserdiscs on Ebay I could make more than enough to buy the DVDs, but I'm just too lazy to do it.

The plan is the Su-47 formerly known as the S-37 Berkut. It is one of the new prototypes out of Russia from the Sukhoi bureau. Once it goes into production, well if it does, it will be one of the most advanced fighters on earth. In a close range dogfight it could probably take anything we currently have except for maybe the JSF. The F-22 is has a better first strike capability then the Berkut, but is not as manuverable or durable. The Berkut is low visibility, but not stealthy.

I am not currently in the USMC, but I am in the middle of making a decsion to go in. I have always wanted to fly and they will give me that chance. That and my major is useless without a masters and I can't really afford to pay for one.

I am a former engineering student. I spent 4 semesters in it before i bailed out. If I was still in engineering I would not have to worry about getting a job. Friends of mine are getting 50 grand plus offers.

I moved into Political Science with a minor in journalism. I am sort of leaning to specializing in International relations and politics.
