I've just got back home from Attending the Charity concerts by
Iron Maiden in aid of the Clive Burr MS trust fund in London,
Clive was the drummer for them from 1975 - 1983/4
And while meeting lots of old freinds Off the Maiden BB from all over the world, which was a fantastic two days. :D
It was heart breaking to see a very talented man brought down by this terrible Illness the guy was looking very ill :( and was held up by the rest of the band as he made a apperance on stage at the end of the show. I can say that not many of the 3000 strong crowd was not moved allmost to tears.:(
The ammount raised for the three night has not been anounced yet But £34,000 was raised on the first night from the merchandise (sp) alone

Sorry for the dribble but after the birth of my kids and my marrage this has been one of the most moveing experances I've had and wanted to share
TA:(

I heard about the concerts a few weeks back. Wonderful to see the band helping out so much. So often the past band members are forgotten but this just goes to show that Maiden are in a class of their own! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the show :)
