Maybe I just asked because some of the kids I deal with, 13, 14, 15 y/o's....(I work as a counsellor part time at a school for kids who want to talk to someone a bit younger then 30).

So many of them are eager to jump in and have sex, and quite frankly, it scares me.

I've told them that sex isn't great the first time, and there surely is no hurry. And that it's much more enjoyable when you're old enough to enjoy it and with someone you love, who loves you back.

Half of them just think I'm giving them the talk that I'm supposed to and that I don't really mean it.

Perhaps if I can quote some of you guys <?>, they'll get the reality of it...

OK, OK, the first time wasn't great. Sure, I wish I could be like Bushido and say it took me forever to cum and that I was wonderful, but the sad truth is that things ended all too soon. Fortunately, I had learned a thing or two about foreplay, so she did seem to cum beforehand (and yes, I realize that it could have been faked, but be kind to my ego and let me believe that she did ).

As far as your counseling goes Sweetcyanide, I certainly don't think you've learned anything here that would be useful as a tool to convince young people to wait. Sure, it could have been better, but it didn't scar me for life.

Do I wish I'd waited? Yes, even though the first time was with the wonderful woman who is now my wife. Why do I wish I'd waited, I can't really say, except that it seems that somehow that would have made things even more special. I can't really explain, and do realize that this will not make sense to some people and may open me up to ridicule to some who think they are "open-minded" and that consensual sex between two people could never be wrong, but it's how I feel.
