I had a long rage against society post, but really it's just soap box grandeur. Just remember that Bettie Page, Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield (36-23-36, 35-22-35 and 40-21-32) would barely qualify as heavy girls (more then BBW models) they weren't small girls, they had breasts and hips. And they are, by most accounts, the three most recognized pinups/center folds. It's hard to say they'd be X size but what I've read is Bettie and Marilyn would be~size 10 in current terms.

For me, I love following they silhouette at night when I caress my girl. I love sneaking up behind her when she's cooking and slide my hands along her waist and kiss the nape of her neck. I love being able to bearhug her and not fret about hurting them because she's small. I love that when she watches me in the bed, the covers and sheet drape over her body in exquisitely erotic ways. I love that when she rolls over on me during sex I feel every molecule of her passionate body and I love when I take her from behind I have leverage to pull her close. I think you're definitely right Pinktacokitty!!!! Beng sexy has nuthing to do with size, its how u feel about you and how you carry yourself around others. I have friends who are bigger than me, but they are way more confident than me bout how they look...

And yes,i do agree with what u say bout guys who think small gurls are shallow and bigger gurls do not take care of themselves. A person can be shallow at any size.

Interesting you should mention Marilyn Monroe and Jane Mansfield... I think in the 50's/60's is was acceptable to be curvy,& voluptuous,but somehow as the 90's dawned, the waif look was in. Not that theres anything wrong with being thin. If thats how you are. But sometimes having super skinny models grace the cover of vogue and strut down the runaway hugely influences how gurls (especially the younger, more vulnerable ones) view their own bodies. BUt I am gld that nowadays the plus size models are actually in reality like the rest of us bigger girls, maybe excluding the fact they have a personal trainer to keep them in shape! Im a big fan of Mia Tyler (Liv Tylr's sis), who does occasional modeling and speaks out about body issues... She's definitely my idea of a big beautiful woman who is confident about how she looks....

I think she's fabulous too, I was crushed when I found out she was married... then engaged And presently I can't imagine that I'm closer then 4 or 5 on the Bacon factor so the chances of running into her fall squarely to the left of slim and none. But curvy, inked women are hot! Like doughnut grease hot.

I highlighted a section that I think is an important distinction. I don't view her as BBW, I simply view her as a beautiful woman. That's not to say that I don't think BBWs exist, but that we've gotten so skewed in life that we think slightly above average is "big". Now she probably has far fewer reasons then the average girl to grow up without being able to see a gym regularly, but that's irrelevent. This country still puts too much stock in rail thin vs physically healthy. I think its what a woman feels like that is what counts... the thinner girls don't have that "come on lets play" challenge to them. Maybe just my choices here... but there is something about a woman with a full body that just feels like you want to find out what all the fun sounds are she can make.

I think a lot of it is scientific/genetic. Throughout history, with any animal species, small and thin body types were associated with poor health. Hunters didn't go into the woods looking for weak and skinny game. I think the infatuation with the skinny waif-like look is a very recent media driven phenomenon. Personally, I love the female form in all of its incarnations. The main attraction for me is attitude. I find confidence and self assurance extremely attractive. I'm drawn to a woman who is comfortable in her own skin regardless of what size she is.

My wife takes so much grief from bigger women just because she's "skinny" and "waif-like" that's how she is genetically, she can't gain weight the same way other women do, if she tries it just goes to wierd places that aren't attractive. The truth is there are far more bbw than thin women now a days and alot of the bigger women take any opportunity to insult the thinner woman. She's not the super bubbly annoying type of woman who monopolizes the attention of men anyway, and much bigger women who do are far more likely to get that attention around her.

My wife is a beautiful woman, and I love her just the way she is, but I've also been with women much larger, in fact most of my girlfriends before her we much bigger, (one was about 5'9'' 250lbs) I like both. I wound up loving her because of our similar family histories and our personalities clicking so well. I will say that now I am much more attracted to women that look like her, just as a function of the fact that I like her so much, so I like women that remind me of her most.

I think historically humans tended to look at women who were on the larger side as being healthier, that is the only point I was trying to make. I guess the metaphor I chose was inappropriate.

Like you, I have had relationships with women of all shapes and sizes and enjoyed them all. You're right, there is a lot of hostility in this world.
