A high-profile criminal trial is ongoing.

-Tom is called to jurry duty

-Ashley is called for jurry duty as well

- Ashley works at the diner Tom frequents. She know's his favourites and shows mild intrest.

- Tom has meant to ask her out for a year. Everysingle time he plan's to, he pussy's out.

-->Soon the Jury with the two of them is Sequestered by the Judge.

I like this idea. Never seen this angle before. Maybe Ashley knows the guy on trial and is a plant to fix the votes.

Yeah I was thinking of that. Instead, I want to keep Ashley a good person. It's about Tom & Ashley in a tight envrioment together. With Tom being able to express his true nature to Ashley.

The title works because the case is a slam dunk, everyone is ready to convict and leave, but not our Tom. He wants to stay there as long as possible.

-Yes to spend time with Ashley. Yes love it it would end with an mistrial

-Oh and the woman(Chloe) on trial is a super hot, now rich temptress, who is eventually let go due to the hung jury. Chloe finds out Tom was the only one argueing her inocense, and is the reason she avoided death row.

-Chloe tries to thank Tom but he rejects the possible killer because he's now going out with Ashley.

-Chloe starts madly pursueing Tom, to the point of injuring Ashley

I like the premise. Needs some sort of thematic driver.

My ideas.

Trial is over nonconsensual sex, Ashley argues for innocence, Tom figures out its a fantasy of hers, and she can't separate the fantasy from reality. I normally don't like nonconsent but this opens up a great opportunity for drawing distinctions between fantasy and reality with conversations having layered meanings. That would be crack for me, given my love of such dialogue.

I also like the twelve angry men idea, with Tom as hold out, and sexual tension growing between them over the debate.

Or could make it funny, with Ashley prolonging the deliberations to spend more time with Tom, who is clueless, and other jurors finally force the issue so they can go home.

I like that idea of the trial being over sex, and the 12 Angry Men reference.

The discussion gets heated with Ashley & Tom being at polar opposite view points.

Perhaps it gets down to them two physically trying to re-enact the scene together in front of everyone, and that's when the erotic part kicks in.

When I saw nonconsensual I stopped reading, it lost all credibility. I kill rapists in my stories. All rapists are a cancer on society, that need to be purged from existence.
