She moved to swim around a little trying to relax and not worry. She looked to him...

DO you miss your homeland?

He looked around him,

"Being here with you? No I do not miss my homeland. Nothing to really miss if you ask me."

 

[Asa]

She watched him for a moment. Puzzled wanting to ask more but not sure if she should. Surely he had family he missed or a loved one who would miss him.

I see... perhaps you should send for family to join you here?

Ryan "Ghost" Phillips

He smiled at her,

"I have no family left my dear, I am all what remains of my family."

Using some of the sand he started to scrub himself.

"I know that you would think that I should miss something there, but these past years there just wasn't anything that could make me miss anything."

 

[Asa]

Well then no fear of you wishing to leave all of us... that is your homelands loss and our gain.

She swam around a little more then climbed out of the springs and sat on the edge one leg pulled up and her foot resting on the rock.

So what all would you like to know about our home?

He finished and rinsed himself in the water, then he moved to the side she was sitting on,

"What is there to tell about it? Apart from wild animals, villages and illegal hunting?"

He gave her a skewed grin.

 

[Asa]

The scared grounds the celebrations. Animal migration paths and how to help the villagers keep strays from stampeding the villages.

She laughed moving her leg to let both legs to linger in the water.

To have you meet the other chieftains and various tribal elders.

"Well then there is time to do just that,"

he leaned against the rocks and relaxed in the warm water

 

[Asa]

When do you want to do all of this?

She sat back eyes closed relaxing. Her mind slipping back over thoughts of their mating as she reaches a hand to him.

"I'm not sure to be honest, when we get the time."

He felt her hand touching his hair and trailing down his neck to his shoulder, he leaned his head back to look smiling up at her.

 

[Asa]

She smiled to him but her mind was miles away though clearly happy. She moved to curl against him arms wrapping around him gently. She reached her other hand to caress his cheek and trace his lips with a fingertip.

He pulled her back into the water with him, watching her, he could see that her mind was wandering far away and he allowed her to touch his face as he looked at her eyes

 

[Asa]

Feeling him pull her back into the water and slowly drawn from her thoughts and smiled to him leaning in to kiss him softly.

To have her lean in for the kiss was a surprise in itself, he met her lips with his, kissing her gently. Seemed like she like the idea

 

[Asa]

Once the kiss broke she looked into his eyes seeing the surprise and smiled.

I do need to get used to being more human now that we are mated... right?

She snuggled into his embrace with a smile.

He chuckled,

"I think you are most definitely right."

He kissed her forehead and held her to him for a while longer.

 

[Asa]

She smiled closing her eyes laying her head on his shoulder and nuzzling against his neck. A faint purr falling from her lips it was after all all she had known since she was a very young child. Smiling her eyes closed as she just relaxed in his embrace.

He ran his fingers through her hair as they sat there, he watched their surroundings and noticed movement inside the cave they came from. It was a lion, if it was the same lioness he did not know, but she seemed curious.

 

[Asa]

She glanced over.

She is harmless she is puzzled that there is another pale one like me here.

She looked over to her and growled as the lioness answered her. She is glad there is another like me.

"We should get out, any longer and I'll end up looking like a turtle, all wrinkled."

 

[Asa]

She nodded and moved to climb out onto the rocks and went to get her clothes as the lioness walked out and back to the cub.

Perhaps maybe we were gone too long in their minds.

"At least we weren't making noise,"

he followed her and got back into his clothes, after dressing he looked at her.

"I am curious, how much does your brother and his mate...mate during mating season?"

 

[Asa]

It will be quite a bit until she just is tired of him

She laughed and shook her head.

They will not expect the same of us for any mating we do they know that humans do not rely on mating seasons...

"I have been curious about it, so what if you grow tired of me then?"

He gave her a lopsided smile,

"Then I will have to pack up and go away for a few days?"

 

[Asa]

She laughed and pulled him over close.

Why would I grow tired of you? Humans can not mate as often as Lions can in a single day or week.

Smiling to him she stared into his eyes.
