Jumping into the fire ... Should the entire Non-Con category be eliminated?

Just seen above that the discussion has got far more disturbing than dms from creeps or discussion about non-consent in erotica
Guess there’ll always be a handful - the same people of course - who will find a way to turn a discussion to banned things…
And no need to spew your thoughts about me saying this if you’re one of the ones doing so, because you’re on ignore, for obvious reasons

You're addressing the people you blocked because you saw their message and want them to know you saw their message but you won't see their reply to your message because you blocked them because of their message so they shouldn't bother to respond to your message anyway unless they aren't sure if their message is one of the ones you're addressing in which case they'd be blocked so the only way to find out if they are blocked because of their message is to therefore address your message and see if you reply which you won't if it was but will if it wasn't?

I haven't a clue what she's on about! What posting in here promoted banned subjects? Did I miss 'em, make 'em, or make fun of 'em?

To drag the conversation back to the point, lol, I had more thoughts on the concept of using non-con to explore my own thoughts.

I'm trans-masculine and I have an eating disorder. I have a LOT of body image issues, and right now Im struggling with the fact that the world likes to validate my feelings of being unattractive (no one in my entire life has called me "hot", ever -my wife is asexual, its complicated. I've never had someone offer to buy me a drink at a bar. Etc.).

Most of the characters I write are queer and trans men, and I write from 1st person POV of the role of the sub/pursued character. Its really, really empowering to write about someone finding a trans male character *so hot* they *must have him*.

I recently started walking with a cane and I have a lot of complex feelings about that. Its freeing in some ways - I can move faster, stand longer, with less pain - but also, I'm 38 and its degenerative. I will always need it, now. So? I wrote a BDSM story with reluctance themes about a guy with a cane. Again, someone like me, but who is *so desired* that the attractive Dominant wants him even over his objections.

I dont *need* to share these stories to get some of the cathartic value. I dont share everything I write - the stuff that gets really dark stays on my personal computer. But...not to sound vain but some of my stuff is objectively good writing! Im prideful enough to want other people to read it and think that too. And also to know that other people are reading my story about a hot, desirable trans guy, and agreeing with me that trans men can be hot and desirable.
