You seem preoccupied with size. I wonder why.

Here's the thing about the Reacher/Cruise issue, in the books Reachers size does come up quite a bit but not in any way that matters to the story or most of the action. Anyone could play him and Cruise is a great action actor.
It's mostly just something to bitch about.

How many real street fights have you been in, BigDarkLight? Nobody said Cruise couldn't play him, the reason he can is because it's only make believe. Alan Ladd could play an average size man too, if you put his leading lady in a friggin' hole or him on a box.
